04/16          Ephesians 1:7

“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.”

Key Points:

  1. Redemption Through the Blood – Christ’s blood purchases our freedom from sin (Colossians 1:14).
  2. Forgiveness is Only Through His Blood – Without His sacrifice, we remain in sin (Hebrews 9:22).
  3. It is an Act of Grace – Salvation is not earned but given freely (Romans 3:24-25).
  4. His Blood Restores Us to God – We are reconciled and made right with the Father (2 Corinthians 5:18-19).

HIS BLOOD REDEEMS

The weight of sin was heavy,
A chain that could not break,
But in His blood, redemption flows,
And mercy speaks my name.

Not by my strength, not by my deeds,
But by the price He chose to pay,
The riches of His grace pour out,
A love that cannot fade.

Forgiveness stands where guilt once ruled,
The past erased, the debt is gone,
No longer lost, no longer bound,
His blood has made me whole.

Covered now, restored to Him,
Reconciled and held by love,
Not my work, but all His grace,
Forever I am free.

His blood redeems, His blood restores,
The price is paid, the door is open,
Grace abounds where mercy reigns,
Covered in His love.
