“He Delights in You”
(Inspired by Zephaniah 3:17)
1
The Lord is near,
not distant, not silent,
but present in your midst,
mighty to save.
2
He sees the weight you carry,
the fears you do not speak,
the battles that leave you weary,
yet He does not turn away.
3
He is not watching in judgment,
not waiting for you to fall—
but rejoicing over you,
singing songs of love.
4
When the night feels long,
when doubt whispers louder,
when you wonder if He sees—
He is already holding you.
5
You are not forsaken,
not forgotten, not left behind—
you are the joy of His heart,
the child He delights in.
6
His love is not fragile,
not earned, not fleeting—
it stands unshaken,
a shield around your soul.
7
He quiets you with His love,
lifts the burdens you fear,
calms the storm within you,
wraps you in His peace.
8
Can you hear it?
The melody of grace,
the song of the Father,
singing over you.
9
Not in anger, not in sorrow,
but in joy beyond measure—
His voice declares,
“You are Mine.”
10
Rest in this truth:
The Lord is with you,
the Lord is for you,
and He delights in you.
