04/04 2 Corinthians 7:1
“Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.”
- Holiness is a process – It grows and matures in our lives.
- Separation from sin is necessary – We must remove defilement.
- Holiness is connected to God’s promises – His word calls us higher.
- Fear of God fuels holiness – Reverence for Him shapes our choices.
SET APART
(Verse 1)
The weight of promise calls us higher,
The love of God draws us near,
To cleanse our hearts, to walk in truth,
To be shaped by His hand.
(Verse 2)
No room for darkness, no place for pride,
No space for what is unclean,
He calls us into purity,
A life that bears His name.
(Verse 3)
Holiness is not just spoken,
It is lived in every breath,
A journey of surrender,
A daily step toward Him.
(Verse 4)
Not by strength, not by striving,
But by His Spirit, we are changed,
A people set apart for Him,
A temple for His glory.
(Chorus)
Cleanse our hearts, purify our hands,
Let us walk in Your holiness,
Not by word, but by life,
Let us be set apart for You.
