APR. 8 – PUT ON THE NEW SELF

04/08                   Ephesians 4:24

“And to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.”

  1. Holiness is part of our new identity – It defines who we are in Christ.
  2. It requires putting on a new self – Transformation is necessary.
  3. Holiness reflects God’s character – We are created in His likeness.
  4. Righteousness and holiness go together – They cannot be separated.

HOLY TO THE LORD

(Verse 1)
The old is gone, the new has come,
Clothed in righteousness and grace,
A life renewed in holiness,
A soul remade in truth.

(Verse 2)
Not by effort, not by might,
But by the Spirit, we are changed,
Put on the garment of the King,
And walk as those redeemed.

(Verse 3)
No longer bound to what was lost,
No longer held by sin’s embrace,
For we have found our place in Him,
Created for His work.

(Verse 4)
Each step reflects the One we follow,
Each word reveals the path of light,
For holiness is not a whisper,
But the fabric of our lives.

(Chorus)
Put on the new, put on His name,
Walk in the truth of who you are,
Set apart and made for glory,
A people holy to the Lord.
