8/02 1 Thessalonians 5:4-6
4 But you aren’t in the dark about these things, dear brothers and sisters, and you won’t be surprised when the day of the Lord comes like a thief. 5 For you are all children of the light and of the day; we don’t belong to darkness and night. 6 So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be sober.
READY
Is this the day the Lord returns? It could be. It will be one day. Be ready for His return whenever He chooses to come. The world rages but you know that one day the Lord will return and He is coming to take us home and in judgment of those that refused to acknowledge Him as Lord and Savior.

Clay Corvin is currently a Bible Teacher and occasional preacher at Bethel Community Baptist Church in New Orleans. He is the retired VP Business and Professor of Admin at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary after completing 38 years as their Business Administrator. He was the pastor at the Brantley Baptist Center for twenty-five years. He is married to Carol Corvin and the father of three children and has three grandchildren.
