04/01 Leviticus 19:2
“Speak to all the congregation of the people of Israel and say to them, ‘You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy.’”
- Holiness is a command – God requires His people to be set apart.
- God’s holiness is the standard – We are to reflect His nature.
- Holiness applies to all believers – It is not optional or for a select few.
- Obedience leads to holiness – Walking in God’s ways sets us apart.
YOU SHALL BE HOLY
(Verse 1)
A voice calls through the ages,
A call to stand apart,
To walk in the light of His name,
And live in the holiness He gives.
(Verse 2)
He is not like the shifting winds,
Not swayed by time or change,
His ways are pure and strong,
And He calls us to be the same.
(Verse 3)
Set apart, yet never alone,
We walk the path He has made,
Not in our strength, not in our ways,
But in the One who goes before.
(Verse 4)
We will not turn to lesser things,
Nor trade His truth for lies,
For He is our God,
And we are His forever.
(Chorus)
Be holy, for He is holy,
Stand firm in His word,
Walk in the light of His calling,
For we are His chosen ones.
