APR. 7 – THE SPLENDOR OF HOLINESS

04/07                   Psalm 96:9

“Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness; tremble before him, all the earth!”

  1. Holiness and worship are connected – True worship flows from purity.
  2. Holiness is beautiful – It reflects God’s nature in us.
  3. Reverence is essential – Holiness brings awe of God.
  4. Holiness is for all the earth – It is not limited to believers.

WORSHIP THE LORD IN HOLINESS

(Verse 1)
In the quiet and in the storm,
Worship rises from the earth,
A call to stand in reverence,
A call to bow in holy fear.

(Verse 2)
Holiness is more than words,
It is the posture of the soul,
A life that sees His splendor,
And walks in awe before His throne.

(Verse 3)
The nations tremble, the heavens sing,
For He is clothed in majesty,
His name is higher than the sky,
And we are called to worship Him.

(Verse 4)
Come and stand before the Lord,
Not with empty hearts or hands,
But in the beauty of His presence,
And the weight of all He is.

(Chorus)
Worship the Lord in holiness,
Let every heart bow low,
For He alone is worthy,
And His name will reign forever.
