05/02 Deuteronomy 5:3
3 The LORD did not make this covenant with our ancestors, but with all of us who are alive today.
NOW
Christianity is a now faith. I am saved now, not some time in the past or sometime in the future. Salvation is a once in a lifetime event that tracks with us throughout eternity. We are changed forever to be a child of God. We are members of God’s family. Our faith affects everything we do right now.
05/01 Micah 6:8
8 No, O people, the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
FOLLOW
We follow the Word of God and are guided by the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit. Jesus indwells us and is seated at the right hand of the Father interceding for us. If we do the things we know to do, what we don’t know will be revealed. God is with us.
04/30 Joshua 1:9
9 This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
DO NOT FEAR
Do not fear. Do not be afraid. The Lord is with you wherever you go. Be encouraged for the Lord God Almighty loves you.
04/29 Deuteronomy 31:6
6 So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the LORD your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”
NEVER
God will never, never, never fail you. He is with you now and forever. God is good. He is perfect. He loves you.
04/28 2 Timothy 1:7
7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
SPIRIT
NO FEAR. NO SHRINKING VIOLET.
God is with us, He is here right now and all the time.
He gives us as His gift a spirit of power, love and self-discipline.
Ask Him for what you need. HE is a gracious and loving Father.
04/27 Isaiah 41:13
13 For I hold you by your right hand— I, the LORD your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.
HERE
God is here.
He is here to lead us and to protect us.
He is here to provide courage and strength for daily living.
Whatever you are dealing with the Lord is there to help.
He is holding your right hand. God is here.
04/26 Isaiah 43:1
1 But now, O Jacob, listen to the LORD who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says, “Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine.
OWNED
We are owned by the Lord.
Do not be afraid. He has paid the price of our ransom.
He knows our name. We belong to Him.
Listen to the Lord. HE is talking to you.
04/25 Revelation 11:15
15 Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices shouting in heaven: “The world has now become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever.”
STAND
God is in control therefore stand fast.
We live in Him. He lives in us.
His hand, the Holy Spirit, fills us with His power.
One day, we will stand before Him and see Him face to face. Be strong, stand fast.
04/24 Isaiah 41:10
10 Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
DON’T
Don’t be afraid.
God is with us.
He gives us recovery from discouragement.
He is our God.
04/23 Nehemiah 8:10
10 And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength!”
JOY
His joy transforms us.
Regenerates us.
Enables us to lead a life of growing confidence in our Father.
His joy is an eternal gift and with it He gives us peace.
Joy overcomes. Joy survives. Joy thrives.
Trust in the Lord and He will fill you with His joy.
