1/31            Mark 6:4

4 Then Jesus told them, “A prophet is honored everywhere except in his own hometown and among his relatives and his own family.”

PROPHET

Our great King Jesus was a prophet from the Father.
He said He will bring us into God’s family and walked to the cross.
His death secured our life.  Life like God’s life.
Jesus said He would reign forever.  He does.
He is the greatest of prophets because He speaks for the Father.
Jesus is Lord.  He loves us and has made provision for each on of us.
We belong to Him and will be with Him forever.

PEACE

The world cannot give us peace.  Only Jesus can give peace.
He assures us of our salvation.  A free grace gift!
He provides assurance of eternal existence with Him.
He will never leave us.  Nothing can separate us from Him.
We have peace in Him.  Jesus is our peace.

36 So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.

ONE WHO SETS FREE

Stop struggling in your daily walk.  Jesus has set you free.
Do not let evil win.  Ask Jesus to deliver you from evil.
Indeed, ask Jesus to keep you away from evil.
Seek His face, His presence, and His leadership.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
Jesus will still lead me and He will never let me go.

LORD OF ALL

Jesus is Lord of all.  The greatest servant.  The greatest sacrifice.
