14 But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.”
LIKE
Children are Godly in that they believe God, what He says and what He calls them to do. They simply trust and act on that trust. They love God because He loves them.
09/29 1 CORINTHIANS 4:20
20 For the Kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God’s power.
LIVE
We live in the power of God. Trust Him. Spend time with Him. Know that His power resides in us by the Power of the Holy Spirit and it is available for us to walk moment by moment in His power. It’s not just talk. It is the power of God in us and He gives us the power for Godly and Christ-like life.
09/28 PSALM 33:4
4 For the word of the LORD holds true, and we can trust everything he does.
ALWAYS
The Word of God is always, always, always true. Even when we don’t understand it, it is always true. Trust God and trust His Word. It is always true.
09/27 PSALM 100:5
5 For the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.
GOOD
God is good. That is always His character for He is always good. Look to Him and trust Him for He is always good.
09/26 HEBREWS 10:23
23 Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.
TRUST
Trust God. Even when everything you see and know says “NO.” Trust God. He is always right, always good and always on time. Trust God.
09/25 2 TIMOTHY 2:13
13 If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny who he is.
CALL
Be faithful but even when we are not faithful God is still faithful. He always is faithful. Every thought that God has towards you is a thought for good. God is good and He is faithful.
09/24 DEUTERONOMY 7:9
9 Understand, therefore, that the LORD your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.
OBEY
We want to be loved and love but few focus on obey part of the promise. We want to do our own thing. Be our own person. The Lord says we are to love Him and obey His commands. This is critical for our personal spiritual growth and for the Lord to use us. Love God and obey Him.
09/23 1 THESSALONIANS 5:24
24 God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful.
ALL
It’s all about Jesus. Jesus saves us. Jesus brings us into the family of God. Jesus keeps us in the family. Nothing can separate us from Him.
09/22 1 CORINTHIANS 1:9
9 God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
COME
Come, all you who are heavy laden, and Jesus will give you rest. He will forgive your sin and give you life and that, life eternal. Follow Jesus. He is life and light for living.
09/21 REVELATION 7:12
12 They sang, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength belong to our God forever and ever! Amen.”
ALWAYS
God is always God. He is the one true God. He loves you. Bend the knee to Him and ask Him to come into your life, save you and put you on the right track for a changed life (Christ Following.). Jesus is Lord. We don’t make Him Lord.
