09/01             Job 14:14

14 Can the dead live again?
If so, this would give me hope through all my years of struggle,
and I would eagerly await the release of death.

YES

JESUS was raised by the power of God from the dead.

He lives today and is seated at the right hand of God.

He is the first fruit of many who call His name as Lord and Savior.

Jesus gives us life, life like God’s life-eternal.

Trust in the Lord.

NO

No, do not accept the valuelessness of modern day life.

You have value and worth.

God created you with a mission.

TRUST

God is our source of hope.

We trust in Him.

He fills us to overflowing with joy and peace.

He gives us confident hope.

We do not now see but one day face to face we will see Jesus.

He is our hope.

3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. 4 And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.

HOPE

Our hope of salvation is secure in Jesus Christ our Lord.

He gives us life now and forever.

Jesus shapes us into His likeness.

It pleases Him to do this.

It assures us of His presence and His promises.

The Lord is God and there is no other.

Jesus is God.

AUG. 27 – MICAH 7:7

I wait confidently for God to save me,
and my God will certainly hear me.

HEAR

My Lord Jesus hears me.

He knows me and is always with me.

This life is impossible without Jesus.

Come Lord Jesus.

AUG. 26 – COL. 3:12-14

8/26            Colossians 3:12-14

12 Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. 13 Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. 14 Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.

JESUS

The Lord is daily shaping us to be more like Jesus.

We are His Holy People.

We will clothe ourselves with mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

This is a choice that we choose to do.

Keep short accounts with the Lord-repent quickly.

Forgive others when they sin against you.

Love one another.

Whether you win a friend,

Or have no friend you become what you want to be.

Do first!

Be more like Jesus.
