04/10 Ephesians 5:25-26
25 For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her 26 to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word.
CHURCH
The Church belongs to Jesus. We are called to be a part of and do our work for Him in His church. Love the Church. Love Jesus. Love one another. Jesus is Lord.
04/09 Luke 6:35
35 “Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked.
DIFFERENT
This command changes us. We are different than the world. We are short-lived creatures who are called to love one another even those that don’t love us. We are to live like Christ. Jesus is Lord.

14 Either way, Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life.
POWER
Our power for righteous living comes from Jesus. He died for us and His death and resurrection provide the foundation for our faith walk. Live in Him and He will live in you.

2 Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.
CARE
Care for those around you. Care for them in good times and bad recognizing the your Father cares for you constantly and consistently.
04/06 Micah 6:8
8 No, O people, the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
WE
We are called to obedience. Do the next right thing. Be merciful. To recognize that we are the created and He is the creator. Praise the Lord.
04/05 Zephaniah 3:17
17 For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”
PRAISE
Praise the Lord for His watch-care over us. His interest in our well-being is beyond our ability to comprehend therefore our response is to praise Him.

17 A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need.
HELP
We often need help. Our friends are sent by the Father to be involved in our lives and to help. If each person helps another person we all do much better. Be sure you are a helper and not a hinderer.
04/03 1 Chronicles 16:34
34 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.
THANKS
Give thanks to the Lord for He is worthy of all of our thanks. When we thank the Lord we are acknowledging what the Lord has done for us. Thank you Lord for my life and the life of each person you send my way. Rejoice for the Lord is good.
04/02 Romans 12:9-10
9Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. 10 Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.
PLAIN
These are plain words. The call is simple-love one another genuinely from the heart. When we do that we are doing God’s work. Love one another.

12 Hatred stirs up quarrels, but love makes up for all offenses.
OFFENSE
Our offense too often is that we really dislike each other. There may be many reasons why but we are shoved into the world’s mold and we forget our responsibility as Children of God and such we are. We are called to love one another. Not just the people we like and who like us but everyone. People are valuable and we are called of God to care for those around us always. Rejoice today in the Lord and love one another.
