FEBRUARY 17 – IGNORE

02/17          Nehemiah 9:17

17 They refused to obey and did not remember the miracles you had done for them. Instead, they became stubborn and appointed a leader to take them back to their slavery in Egypt. But you are a God of forgiveness, gracious and merciful, slow to become angry, and rich in unfailing love. You did not abandon them,

IGNORE

We ignore God at our own peril.  His love is complete and full and He is seeking our best good.  When we ignore God we walk right into the plot of the Evil One who will then devour us.  Trust in the Lord and seek His face.

FEBRUARY 16 – LIVE

02/16          Psalm 37:28

28For the LORD loves justice, and he will never abandon the godly. He will keep them safe forever, but the children of the wicked will die.

LIVE

Love the Lord and you will live.  Refuse to love the Lord and you have chosen to die.  Your choice.  Easy to make. His Word tells us He is faithful and righteous to save us if we ask Him.  You choose.

FEBRUARY 15 – BELONG

02/15          1 Samuel 12:22

22 The LORD will not abandon his people, because that would dishonor his great name. For it has pleased the LORD to make you his very own people.

BELONG

We have surrendered our lives, our hearts to the Lord.  We belong to Him.  The Lord is pleased to lead, guide and direct us every day.  He loves us with a depth and completeness that we cannot comprehend. We belong to Him.

FEBRUARY 14 – EVIL

02/14          1 John 3:1

1 See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him.

EVIL

Evil seeks to destroy you.  If you are not a child of God, Evil will always seek to misdirect, fool and abuse you. Bend the knee to Jesus and He will destroy Evil.  Refuse to follow the Lord and you will die in your trespasses and sin.  Jesus is the only way to the Father.

FEBRUARY 13 – OBEY

02/13          1 Kings 6:11-13

11 Then the LORD gave this message to Solomon: 12“Concerning this Temple you are building, if you keep all my decrees and regulations and obey all my commands, I will fulfill through you the promise I made to your father, David.  13 I will live among the Israelites and will never abandon my people Israel.”

OBEY

Obey the Lord.  Obedience is better than sacrifice.  If you say you will obey and do not do that which you said you would do you have disobeyed the Lord.  Too many think that there intentions count.  The road to Hell is paved with good intentions.  Serve the Lord, know the Lord and you will be close to the Lord.

FEBRUARY 12 – ALWAYS

02/12          James 1:17

17Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.

ALWAYS

God is always God.  He is complete, total, unchanging and eternal.  He knows everything.  He loves in a way that is totally beyond our ability to comprehend and yet we can know His love fully in Jesus Christ.  Christ is our Savior, our beloved, and He loves you and me.  Jesus is love.  He loves us.

FEBRUARY 11 – CAREFUL

02/11          Judges 9:8-11

8 Once upon a time the trees decided to choose a king. First they said to the olive tree, ‘Be our king!’ 9 But the olive tree refused, saying, ‘Should I quit producing the olive oil that blesses both God and people, just to wave back and forth over the trees?’ 10 “Then they said to the fig tree, ‘You be our king!’ 11 But the fig tree also refused, saying, ‘Should I quit producing my sweet fruit just to wave back and forth over the trees?’ 12 “Then they said to the grapevine, ‘You be our king!’ 13 But the grapevine also refused, saying, ‘Should I quit producing the wine that cheers both God and people, just to wave back and forth over the trees?’ 14 “Then all the trees finally turned to the thorn bush and said, ‘Come, you be our king!’ 15 And the thorn bush replied to the trees, ‘If you truly want to make me your king, come and take shelter in my shade. If not, let fire come out from me and devour the cedars of Lebanon.’”

CAREFUL

It’s important to listen to what is happening.  Are you ready to do what must be done?  We are totally unlike God.  His ways are not our ways.  We are to choose carefully and choose with the Lord’s guidance.  Don’t do anything rash.  Be patient and make sure you are listening to the Lord when you make those life changing decisions.

FERUARY 10 – HOW

02/10          Psalm 27:10-11

10 Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close.

11 Teach me how to live, O LORD.  Lead me along the right path, for my enemies are waiting for me.

HOW

The Lord will teach you How to live.  He loves you and will give you the guidance and wisdom you will need for a Godly life.  Life is hard and we need good direction so that we might live a good life.

02/09          Proverbs 1:8

8 My child, listen when your father corrects you. Don’t neglect your mother’s instruction.

FEBRUARY 8 – FEAR

02/08          2 Timothy 1:7

7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

FEAR

Fear is constantly seeking a foothold in our life.  Do not let it trick you.  When fear creeps in take it to the Father immediately.  Lord, help me your child.  Fear is grabbing my heart, and my soul and I know you can cast out fear.  Fear the Lord rebuke you.  Father give me power to live this moment, love to care for those around me and the self-discipline to immediately turn to you wnen fear shows up at my door.  Praise the Lord.
