Wisdom will be with you.

APR. 28 – PSALM 37:30

04/28                  Psalm 37:30

30 The godly offer good counsel;
    they teach right from wrong.

RIGHT

Right isn’t what we may think.

Right is taught in the word of God.

Right isn’t open to modernization.

Right is what the Lord God Almighty,

Creator of the Universe says it is.

We look at His laws and follow them.

Godly brothers and sisters help us grow in Godliness.

APR. 27 – PROV. 27:17

so a friend sharpens a friend.

FELLOWSHIP

We need a friend.

Maybe two or three.

A friend we can listen to and talk with.

We need a friend-standing alone we are vulnerable.

A friend helps us evaluate where we are.

And where we are going.

APR. 26 – PROV. 18:21

04/26                  Proverbs 18:21

21 The tongue can bring death or life;
those who love to talk will reap the consequences.

TALK

Talk is cheap.

Stop talking.

Just do it.

You will discover that others will esteem you.

Wisdom will become your constant companion.

APR. 25 – PROV. 18:13

04/25                  Proverbs 18:13

13 Spouting off before listening to the facts
    is both shameful and foolish.

HEAR

Hear what people are saying.

Don’t make up your mind before you hear the facts.

Bias consistently causes failure.

Listen closely, hear what the person is saying.

APR. 24 – COL. 3:8

04/24                  Colossians 3:8

8 But now is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicious behavior, slander, and dirty language.

CHRISTIAN

For the Christian, there is no room for anger.

We never quite get it right when anger rules our heart and mind.

Rage always causes more damage than anyone wanted.

Malicious behavior earns many enemies.

Follow Jesus.

He was meek and mild.

Dispose of your pride.

Be wise and become more like Jesus.

APR. 23 – PROV. 18:2

04/23                  Proverbs 18:2

2 Fools have no interest in understanding;
they only want to air their own opinions.

TALK

Foolish people talk, talk talk.

Wise people listen, listen, listen.

Better to keep your mouth shut and thought to be foolish,

Than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

APR. 22 – PROV. 16:24

04/22                  Proverbs 16:24

24 Kind words are like honey—
sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.

KIND

Be kind.

It blesses others.

It blesses you.

Walk in kindness and set aside brusque and harsh attitudes.

APR. 21 – EPH. 5:4

04/21                  Ephesians 5:4

4 Obscene stories, foolish talk, and coarse jokes—these are not for you. Instead, let there be thankfulness to God.

OFF

We either love God or love the world.

There is no half and half.

Set aside the things of this world.

Focus your heart and soul and mind on Jesus.

Gratitude is a first step in honoring God.

the words of the wise are persuasive.

WISE

Wise people value others.

They treat them with kindness.

As much as the individual will let them, they honor others.

Wise people listen closely and fully.

Walk with Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

They will gift you with wisdom.
