5 May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.
LOVE
Jesus calls us to love one another. When we love those we see we are able to love the Lord whom we cannot see. Love one another. Christ likeness comes out of your surrender to His leadership.
09/03 Deuteronomy 31:8
8 Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.”
FEAR
Let the Lord handle your fear. Rebuke the devil and he will flee from you-the Lord rebuke you Satan. Give Jesus your fear and He will walk with you. When Jesus controls our heart fear departs.
09/02 Psalm 119:133
133 Guide my steps by your word, so I will not be overcome by evil.
WORD
Don’t be surprised by evil, spend time in the Word of God-the Bible. It is an instruction manual for living. Read the Word. Meditate on the Word. Make sure you remember the Word. If you do you will walk in the correct way as you live your life day by day.
09/01 Deuteronomy 5:33
33 Stay on the path that the LORD your God has commanded you to follow. Then you will live long and prosperous lives in the land you are about to enter and occupy.
STAY
Stay the course. Keep up the journey. Follow the Lord. You choose whom you will serve. The Lord is looking for you therefore spend time with Him.
08/31 2 Timothy 2:11-13
11This is a trustworthy saying: If we die with him, we will also live with him. 12 If we endure hardship, we will reign with him. If we deny him, he will deny us. 13 If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny who he is.
YOU
What do you want to do? Follow Jesus or follow the world. If you do not change you will follow the world. If you will change, grow day by day in Christ likeness, you will be a Christ follower. Spend time in the Word of God-the Bible, pray, listen, trust and obey. Remember that we are to love one another and forgive each other. Jesus is Lord.
08/30 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18
17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
PRAYER
Prayer is conversation with the Lord. We are to be in constant prayer talking and listening to the Lord. This equips us to continue in a moment by moment Godward focus in our daily walk. Spend time with Jesus-all the time. Become a servant that is always by the master’s side. Talk with the Lord. Pray as if your life depended on it. Pray for others. Pray for yourself. Pray.
08/29 2 Corinthians 8:1-5
1 Now I want you to know, dear brothers and sisters, what God in his kindness has done through the churches in Macedonia. 2 They are being tested by many troubles, and they are very poor. But they are also filled with abundant joy, which has overflowed in rich generosity. 3 For I can testify that they gave not only what they could afford, but far more. And they did it of their own free will. 4 They begged us again and again for the privilege of sharing in the gift for the believers in Jerusalem. 5They even did more than we had hoped, for their first action was to give themselves to the Lord and to us, just as God wanted them to do.
GIVE
Amazingly you will discover that when a person gives their life to Jesus the first thing they want to do is give-give to the Lord with their tithe and give to others that are doing the work of Jesus with their offerings. You will experience this yourself when you come close to the Lord Jesus. He will call you to help others and in turn will insure that you are also helped with financial remuneration and with spiritual growth. Jesus is Lord. Follow Him.

12 I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength to do his work. He considered me trustworthy and appointed me to serve him,
USE
Jesus will use you for service if you follow Him and do what He says. Trust and obey is the key to useful service. The Lord uses us to represent Him.
08/27 Ezekiel 44:15
15“However, the Levitical priests of the family of Zadok continued to minister faithfully in the Temple when Israel abandoned me for idols. These men will serve as my ministers. They will stand in my presence and offer the fat and blood of the sacrifices, says the Sovereign LORD.
WORTHY
The Lord declares our worthiness. We don’t evaluate the Lord and define our own worthiness for the Lord has set up a standard-Jesus Christ as our determinate of worthiness. We are cleansed by the blood of Jesus and in Him find our righteousness and holiness. The Lord is God and there is no other-He is the sole determinate of who serves Him and who will serve Him. Trust in the Lord and obey Him and He will designate your worthiness. Believe in Jesus and you shall be saved-trust in the Lord and do what He says and you will be used for His service. Love the Lord and He will wear you out in service in the kingdom.
08/26 2 Kings 22:4-7
4 “Go to Hilkiah the high priest and have him count the money the gatekeepers have collected from the people at the LORD ’s Temple. 5 Entrust this money to the men assigned to supervise the restoration of the LORD ’s Temple. Then they can use it to pay workers to repair the Temple. 6 They will need to hire carpenters, builders, and masons. Also have them buy the timber and the finished stone needed to repair the Temple. 7 But don’t require the construction supervisors to keep account of the money they receive, for they are honest and trustworthy men.”
WAY
The WAY of the Lord is the right way. A life committed to Jesus is trustworthy and focused on Him. When we have our focus right our actions are right. When our actions are right we will constantly be growing in Christ likeness. Love one another is a right thing to do that will help us keep on the right track as we seek to follow the Lord. Jesus is Lord.
