May 25 1 Timothy 1:5
5 The purpose of my instruction is that all believers would be filled with love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and genuine faith.
LOVE
We are filled with a lot of things but few of us are filled with love. We hate. We hurt. We fear. Jesus calls us to be filled with love then do! Turn you heart and mind towards Jesus and He will fill you with love.
May 24 1 Timothy 1:4
4 Don’t let them waste their time in endless discussion of myths and spiritual pedigrees. These things only lead to meaningless speculations, which don’t help people live a life of faith in God.
LOVE
Love the Lord. Love his fellowship with you. Love those you are with. In the early church outsiders said they knew them by their love for the brethren. Love one another.
May 23 Ezekiel 48:11
11 This area is set aside for the ordained priests, the descendants of Zadok who served me faithfully and did not go astray with the people of Israel and the rest of the Levites.
WHO?
Who did the Lord remember? Those that were faithful. He will not forget you. Be faithful.
May 22 2 Kings 22:4-7
4 “Go to Hilkiah the high priest and have him count the money the gatekeepers have collected from the people at the LORD ’s Temple. 5 Entrust this money to the men assigned to supervise the restoration of the LORD ’s Temple. Then they can use it to pay workers to repair the Temple. 6 They will need to hire carpenters, builders, and masons. Also have them buy the timber and the finished stone needed to repair the Temple. 7 But don’t require the construction supervisors to keep account of the money they receive, for they are honest and trustworthy men.”
YOU
The Lord knows who you are and what you are. He knows your heart. Our relationship with Him is a heart relationship-by faith we believe and are saved. Serve the Lord with gladness. Be His trustworthy servant.
May 21 2 Chronicles 34:10-12
10 He entrusted the money to the men assigned to supervise the restoration of the LORD ’s Temple. Then they paid the workers who did the repairs and renovation of the Temple. 11 They hired carpenters and builders, who purchased finished stone for the walls and timber for the rafters and beams. They restored what earlier kings of Judah had allowed to fall into ruin. 12 The workers served faithfully under the leadership of Jahath and Obadiah, Levites of the Merarite clan, and Zechariah and Meshullam, Levites of the Kohathite clan. DO
Do the next right thing. Commit today to the Lord and to yourself to spend time with Jesus and have the wisdom to do the next right thing.
May 20 2 Chronicles 19:9
9 These were his instructions to them: “You must always act in the fear of the LORD, with faithfulness and an undivided heart.
FEAR
We are not God. We do not know what is going on. We cannot see those powers and principalities of the air and we are at their mercy if we are not under the Lord’s hand. Fear God who can destroy completely but fear Him knowing of His great love for you.
May 19 1 Samuel 12:24
24 But be sure to fear the LORD and faithfully serve him. Think of all the wonderful things he has done for you.
HAVE
Have you thought about the wonderful things the Lord has done for you? Make a list of Ten things the Lord has done for you. Where would you be if He had not done those things? Has the Lord not done anything for you lately? Get with Jesus and talk with Him. You need to come back to Him.
May 18 Ezekiel 18:9
8 He grants loans without interest, stays away from injustice, is honest and fair when judging others, 9 and faithfully obeys my decrees and regulations. Anyone who does these things is just and will surely live, says the Sovereign LORD.
LIFE
Do you live your life daily? Spend time with Jesus? Keep short accounts of your sin? Let’s change the way we live and put Jesus first otherwise everything else is just going through the motions of faith.
May 17 Deuteronomy 11:13-14
13 “If you carefully obey the commands I am giving you today, and if you love the LORD your God and serve him with all your heart and soul, 14 then he will send the rains in their proper seasons—the early and late rains—so you can bring in your harvests of grain, new wine, and olive oil.
THINK
Think about how much the Lord loves you. Think about what you do each moment, each day. Do you love the Lord? Is your relationship more than a crying child? Change. Spend time with Jesus and He will spend time with you.
May 16 Revelation 2:17
17“Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. To everyone who is victorious I will give some of the manna that has been hidden away in heaven. And I will give to each one a white stone, and on the stone will be engraved a new name that no one understands except the one who receives it.
CARE
Jesus cares for you. His care is personal. He knows your name and the number of hairs on your head. HE will see you through this current problem and every problem you face. Jesus is Lord.
