01/11 Revelation 21:5

5 And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” 6 And he also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life. 

SEEK

Seek the Lord.  Seek Him now while He may be found.  Spend time with Him.  Listen to Him.  Do everything to cultivate a Godward attitude in your heart.  Love one another and forgive others developing a mindset of giving and the Lord will stand with you as you live your life.  It will be a richer life, a more meaningful life and a life filled with His presence. 

01/10 Colossians 3:9-10

9 Don’t lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds. 10 Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him. 

RENEWED

To be renewed we must spend time with the Lord.  It is the Holy Spirit that points out when we are off-track.  The Lord has our best interests in mind and for us to know we have to know Him.  Daily devotionals, regular prayer times and a constancy in conversation with the Lord equips us to hear Him and follow Him better. 

01/09 Ezekiel 11:19-20

19 And I will give them singleness of heart and put a new spirit within them. I will take away their stony, stubborn heart and give them a tender, responsive heart, 20 so they will obey my decrees and regulations. Then they will truly be my people, and I will be their God. 

LISTEN

Listen to the Lord.  He wants you.  Not what you can do but you.  He created you and He will sustain you.  Hear the Lord as He calls you. 

01/08               Romans 5:5

5 And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

CLAIM

How is your day?  Claim His love.  The Holy Spirit will fill your heart with His love if you will let Him.  Claim His love for you. 

01/07               Lamentations 3:22-23

22 The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease.  23 Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. 

TODAY

Today is when I need the intervention of the Holy Spirit into my life.  I’m a struggler, a recovering sinner, self-centered and I need help.  The Lord is faithful and He will give me the help I need. 

01/06               1 Peter 1:3

3 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, 

FORWARD

We live life forward.  There is nothing we can do about the past.  We are now creatures and as such must learn to live with confidence of the Lord’s presence and His willingness to lead us day by day.  Jesus loves you and He is deeply concerned with your life choices and your ability to handle the challenges you face each day.  Our God knows what is going on and how to prepare us to best deal with each obstacle we face.  He is Lord.

01/05               Proverbs 23:18

18 You will be rewarded for this; your hope will not be disappointed. 

CONSTANT

The Lord is the one constant in our life.  He will never leave us.  His love is never depleted.  Jesus will go with us from now on into eternity. 

01/04               Jeremiah 29:11

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD . “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 

VALUE

The Lord gives us real value in our life.  He gives us eternal life which begins right now and walks with us from this day forward.  He will never leave us and always has our best interest at heart.  The Lord gives us a future and a hope in Jesus Christ. 

01/03               Deuteronomy 7:13

13 He will love you and bless you, and he will give you many children. He will give fertility to your land and your animals. When you arrive in the land he swore to give your ancestors, you will have large harvests of grain, new wine, and olive oil, and great herds of cattle, sheep, and goats. 

BLESS

Trust the Lord to bless you.  Do not seek to do it yourself.  Do not violate your faith with Him but instead seek His face and His guidance and He will bless you. 

01/02               Isaiah 43:19

19 For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. 

WAY

The Lord will make a way for your new life.  The Messiah has come and He changes everything.  Follow the Lord and He will lead you every step of the way as you live under His guidance and direction.  Follow the Lord.
