08/09 Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. 6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
SIMPLE
We are called to have a simple, complete trust in the Lord. We cannot explain Him. We often do not understand Him. We always know that He loves us totally and that every thought He has towards us is a thought for good. I obey Him and listen to Him and He always guides me in the right way. Jesus is Lord.
08/08 Luke 1:37
37 For the word of God will never fail.
TRUTH
The truth is that the Word of God is faithful and true and eternal. It will never fail. The Lord God gave it to man and He is eternal. All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.
08/07 James 2:19-22
19 You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. 20 How foolish! Can’t you see that faith without good deeds is useless? 21 Don’t you remember that our ancestor Abraham was shown to be right with God by his actions when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see, his faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete.
WHO
Who believes in a Holy God? Do you or do you listen to the World that does not believe even though it is true they make up ideas about God and propose them as God? Do you or do you bend the knee to Christ submitting your life to Him exchanging your lostness for wisdom, mercy and grace from and all loving God? Trust in the Lord with all your heart and He will forgive you of your sin and bring you into His family.
08/06 Ephesians 2:8-9
8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
GIFT
Your salvation is a gift from God. He was looking for you. You were never hunting for Him. His love is amazing and like nothing else you will ever know. Jesus loves you.
08/05 1 Corinthians 2:5
1 And so it was with me, brothers and sisters. When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. 2 For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3 I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. 4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, 5 so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.
WORLD
The World is lost and does not know God. The World does everything in its power to stamp out the things of God. Only God can do those things that give us knowledge of Him and guide us to Him. He is always good and always just- the World is not.
08/04 Mark 11:22-24
22 Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God. 23 I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. 24 I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.
FAITH
I believe in Jesus-his birth, death and resurrection; his provision for my salvation and his assurance of my salvation. I believe in the Lord and His promises to me. I live my life with that in mind knowing that all of the promises of God’s Word and living with confidence that the Lord loves me and will guide me throughout my life and one day face to face with Him.
08/03 Romans 10:17
17 So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.
LISTEN
Listen. The Lord is speaking to you. Read the Word. Talk with Jesus. Listen as He talks to you. The Lord is faithful, and He will guide you in the way you should go.
08/02 Matthew 21:22
22 You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.”
TRUTH
This is truth straight from the Lord. Talk with Jesus. Ask Him anything and He will discuss it with you. Jesus will answer you and He will deliver as He says He will. Trust in the Lord, obey Him and He will do it.
08/01 Hebrews 11:1
1 Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.
KNOW
When we know in our heart that the promises of the Lord are true we are on our own personal journey of faith. Be strong in the Lord. Listen to Him as He guides you.
July 31 Psalm 43:3-5
3 Send out your light and your truth; let them guide me. Let them lead me to your holy mountain, to the place where you live. 4 There I will go to the altar of God, to God—the source of all my joy. I will praise you with my harp, O God, my God! 5 Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!
REJOICE
We are encouraged to rejoice in the Lord Jesus. He is our peace. He is our joy. Praise the Lord with all that is in me and in all things sing His praises. The Lord is good and worthy of all honor and glory and praise. Praise the name of the Lord.
