JULY 30 – PRAISE

7/30                 Psalm 147:1

1 Praise the LORD ! How good to sing praises to our God! How delightful and how fitting!

PRAISE

Praise the Lord with every fiber of your being.  Praise the Lord in good and in bad.  Praise the Lord for His perfect salvation.  Praise the Lord for the breath of life.  Praise the Lord for walking with us.  Praise the Lord in all things and in all things give praise.

JULY 29 – MERCY

7/29                 1 Peter 1:3-5

3 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, 4 and we have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. 5 And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see.

MERCY

His mercy is abundant and overwhelming for each one of us.  The Lord God is our Father and He loves us with a love that is impossible for us to fully comprehend.  His love abides in us and His love sets us free.  Jesus is this love from the Father and He is with us forever.

JULY 28 – PAIN

7/28                 John 6:35

35 Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

PAIN

Everyone you know is struggling.  Pain is their constant companion.  Life is so hard and so harsh that no one is exempt from the pain of living.  Jesus heals that pain.  He gives us light and life for living.  He sets the captives free.  He is our life.  Jesus.

JULY 27 – LISTEN

7/27                 John 5:24

24 “I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.

LISTEN

Jesus calls us to listen to him.  Are you listening?  He calls us to a radical new lifestyle.  No longer are we shredded by the evil of the day, the foolishness that those dead in their trespasses and sin propagate.  Jesus is Lord and His word is final.

JULY 26 – HERE

7/26                 John 5:16-17

16 So the Jewish leaders began harassing Jesus for breaking the Sabbath rules. 17 But Jesus replied, “My Father is always working, and so am I.”

HERE

Jesus is here.  He knows you and what is going on in your life.  You count with Jesus.  Give Him your heart and your obedience.  Life will change.  Peace and joy will become the new normal.

JULY 25 – WELL

7/25                 John 5:6

6 When Jesus saw him and knew he had been ill for a long time, he asked him, “Would you like to get well?”

WELL

Would you like to get well?  To be healed of your sin and separation from the Lord God Almighty?  To be reclaimed from the pit of addiction to sin?  Jesus will save you and when He saves you He will deliver you from all of your sin.  Jesus takes us back, reunites us into the family of God and heals us of our sin.

JULY 24 – VICTORY

7/24                 Job 19:25

25 “But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and he will stand upon the earth at last.

VICTORY

The Lord has won the victory.  He will reclaim us when he returns.  We are redeemed from Hell and perdition.  Jesus is Lord of all and He is Lord of us.

JULY 23 – ENEMIES

7/23                 Joshua 10:25

25 “Don’t ever be afraid or discouraged,” Joshua told his men. “Be strong and courageous, for the LORD is going to do this to all of your enemies.”

ENEMIES

What is discouraging you?  That is your enemy.  What is making you feel second class?  That is your enemy.  Anything that makes you act or fell like you are anything but a beloved child of the Lord is your enemy.  Be encouraged.  The victory is won.  Jesus will see you through.

JULY 22 – LORD

7/22                 Leviticus 26:45

45 For their sakes I will remember my ancient covenant with their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of all the nations, that I might be their God. I am the LORD .”

LORD

Jesus is the living Lord.  He died for our sin and His sacrifice paid the price that we could not pay.  The Lord was raised from the dead on the third day and He is alive today.  He forgives us and reconciles us to God the Father.  Praise the Lord for His wonderful gift of Jesus.

JULY 21 – TRUST

7/21                 Leviticus 26:40

40 “But at last my people will confess their sins and the sins of their ancestors for betraying me and being hostile toward me.

TRUST

Trust Jesus for your salvation.  Ask Him to forgive you of your sin and come into your heart and save you.  He will be faithful to do just that.  Jesus is Lord.
