10/06          Colossians 3:12

12 Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.

WORKS

The works of the children of God,

Are because of their relationship. 

These works are what God’s children do.

Be tenderhearted, show mercy, be kind, live an humble life,

Exhibit gentleness in your interactions and develop a patient spirit. 

This is not a requirement for salvation.

This is the way the children of God act. 

10/05          1 Peter 3:3-4

3 Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. 4 You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.

CLOTHE

Clothe yourself with the glory of God.

Serve, obey and be humble.

This will net you real notice by the King of the Universe. 

A gentle and quiet spirit is precious to God. 

10/04          Romans 12:16

16 Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!

GET

Get along with others.

They count.

Doing for others equips us to do right for ourselves. 

Be right and do right. 

Serve Jesus.

10/03          Proverbs 11:2

2 Pride leads to disgrace,
    but with humility comes wisdom.

BLIND

Pride blinds us and sets us up to step off a cliff!

Humility takes the blinders off of our eyes,

And guides us where to walk. 

Be quipped by Holy Spirit guidance.

Humbly approach each day. 

Serve the Lord with gladness. 

10/02          Philippians 2:3

3 Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.

YOU

You count.

You are worthy.

You are important.

Help me Lord to be open and caring.

People count most of all with YOU.

10/01          Ephesians 4:2

2 Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.

LOVE

We are called to love on another

And to be patient with one another. 

When we love we make allowances for each other’s faults. 

We care as much for others as we do for ourselves.

We set aside our egos and serve the Father by loving others. 

09/30          Revelation 21:3-4

3 I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”

GONE

The chaos of life will be dismissed. 

Gone will be the heartache and pain of daily living.

No suffering, no shame, only living in Jesus name. 

We will be with Him for eternity. 

09/29          Revelation 7:16-17

16 They will never again be hungry or thirsty;
    they will never be scorched by the heat of the sun.
17 For the Lamb on the throne
    will be their Shepherd.
He will lead them to springs of life-giving water.
    And God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”

COMPLETE

We are complete in Jesus.

He came that we might understand the Father’s deep love for us.

He died that He might pay the price of our ransom. 

He lives so that we will be equipped to stay the course.

He intercedes for us in ways we cannot understand.

The Lord is our Father and Jesus brings us into His family. 

No more tears, no more fears in Jesus Christ. 

09/28          Revelation 1:8

8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.”

ALWAYS

JESUS is always.

He is and was and will be. 

Nothing existed without His Word. 

He created out of nothing.

He holds creation together.

He loves you and me and has a plan for out life.

He is the victory-the beginning and the end. 

IN Jesus we are equipped to do His work. 

Follow Him and He will lead you in the victory parade.

Jesus is Lord. 

09/27          Hebrews 5:9

9 In this way, God qualified him as a perfect High Priest, and he became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey him.

HE

JESUS IS the source.

He is our source.

He saves us unto eternity. 

His love guides us from now on. 

Follow Him in obedience.

He will guide your path.
