11/21          Psalm 50:23

But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me. If you keep to my path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God.”

HONOR

We honor God when we give thanks.  We owe Him a debt of great honor therefore we are encouraged to have and attitude of gratitude in all things to Jesus.  Thank you Lord.  Thank you for all that you do in my life.  Thank you for salvation.  Thank you for my heart beat and breath.  Thank you for another day.  Our gratitude is endless for we have many things for which we are to be grateful.

11/20          Psalm 26:6-7

I wash my hands to declare my innocence. I come to your altar, O LORD, 7 singing a song of thanksgiving and telling of all your wonders.

SONG

When we are filled with gratitude to the Lord it is our heart instinct to sing a song of gratitude to the Lord.  It is so amazing how much Jesus loves us and we sing about that love.  It is wonderful how the Lord cares for us and we instinctively express that great wonder in a song of gratitude to the Lord. 

11/19          Psalm 9:1-2

I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done. 2 I will be filled with joy because of you. I will sing praises to your name, O Most High.

PRAISE

The Eternal God is our dwelling place.  He is our life.  Praise Him with everything in you.  Hurting-praise God.  Joy-praise God.  He is our dwelling place and we live and move and breathe in Him. 

11/18          Psalm 7:17

I will thank the LORD because he is just; I will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.

JUST

Jesus loves you and He is doing the right thing in your life.  Your life has value and Jesus will work with you developing your ability to express and exercise your value.  Be yourself.  Love Jesus.  Praise Him.  Jesus loves you. 

11/17          1 Chronicles 16:34-36

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. 35 Cry out, “Save us, O God of our salvation! Gather and rescue us from among the nations, so we can thank your holy name and rejoice and praise you.” 36 Praise the LORD, the God of Israel, who lives from everlasting to everlasting! And all the people shouted “Amen!” and praised the LORD.

PRAISE

Praise the Lord for your life.  He saved you so praise Him.  He loves you so praise Him.  He cares about the details of your life so praise Him.  Praise the Lord with all of your heart and soul.  Praise the Lord. 

11/16          1 Chronicles 16:8-9

Give thanks to the LORD and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. 9 Sing to him; yes, sing his praises. Tell everyone about his wonderful deeds.

TELL

Tell people about your relationship with Jesus.  That’s it.  Talk about what the Lord is doing in your life.  Jesus loves you and you can share that with everyone you meet. 

11/15          Romans 8:28

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

KNOW

You have value and worth with the Lord.  Whatever is happening to you now isn’t a repudiation of your worth in fact the Word of God says that the Lord has a purpose for your life and that He is working in and through you to achieve His purpose in your life.  Jesus loves you. 

11/14          Romans 5:1

Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.

PEACE

Peace with God is an abiding joy-it is a constant and does not ebb and flow.  When we know we have peace we experience His peace.  Peace with the Lord encourages us and nourishes us day by day as we seek to serve Him.  Peace is an activity of the Father in our lives.  It is His presence accommodating our active lifestyle.  Jesus is in us and with us and we walk in His presence and it is a part of our sanctification. 

11/13          Mark 11:22-25

Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God. 23 I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. 24 I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. 25 But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too. ”

REAL

Jesus calls us to be real.  We decide if we will forgive others and Jesus says we must.  If we forgive others we have access to the Father.  When we forgive we change.  When we change we grow.  Pray is part of growth.  The more we grow the more we pray.  If we know we are heard, then we pray with confidence.

11/12          Psalm 107:1

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.

THANK YOU

Thank you Lord for all of your goodness to me.  Thank you Lord for your faithfulness.  Thank you Lord for your love-it lasts forever.  Thank you Lord.
