JUNE 29 – GROW

06/29          Romans 4:20-22

Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. 21 He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises. 22 And because of Abraham’s faith, God counted him as righteous.

GROW

Stand with the Lord.  Let Him grow your faith day by day.  Listen to His promises.  Pray.  Obey.  Watch as His promises to you become real the day of the promise and the actual fulfillment of the promise a foregone conclusion.  The Lord God almighty is more than able and faithful to do as He says.  He will do it.

JUNE 28 – IMPOSSIBLE

06/28          Romans 4:19

And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead—and so was Sarah’s womb.

IMPOSSIBLE

The Lord is able.  Nothing is impossible with Him.  Stand firm. His Word is true.  He will not fail you.  Jesus will see you through.  Trust in Him and He will do it.

JUNE 27 – CERTAIN

06/27          Romans 4:18

Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping—believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, “That’s how many descendants you will have!”

CERTAIN

We have real hope in Jesus.  He will deliver.  He is our hope.  Things may look hopeless and you may not see a way but His promise is certain.  Have faith in Christ.  Have faith that He will do exactly what He says He will do.  Jesus is Lord.

JUNE 26 – BELIEVE

06/26          Romans 4:17

That is what the Scriptures mean when God told him, “I have made you the father of many nations.” This happened because Abraham believed in the God who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing.

BELIEVE
We believe, Lord help our unbelief.  The Lord is the giver of faith and we hold that faith dear and near.  We read His Word, we experience His activity in us and we know Him better.  As we know Him we obey Him our faith grows and we serve Him.  Our faith calls us to a radical life-surrendered to Jesus.

JUNE 25 – FAITH

06/25          Romans 4:15-16

For the law always brings punishment on those who try to obey it. (The only way to avoid breaking the law is to have no law to break!)  16 So the promise is received by faith. It is given as a free gift. And we are all certain to receive it, whether or not we live according to the law of Moses, if we have faith like Abraham’s. For Abraham is the father of all who believe.

FAITH

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, that He has given you new life and you will be saved.  Believe every day.  Believe.  Believe in Him and you will be saved, New Life in Jesus Christ.

JUNE 24 – PROMISE

06/24          Romans 4:12-14

And Abraham is also the spiritual father of those who have been circumcised, but only if they have the same kind of faith Abraham had before he was circumcised.  13 Clearly, God’s promise to give the whole earth to Abraham and his descendants was based not on his obedience to God’s law, but on a right relationship with God that comes by faith. 14 If God’s promise is only for those who obey the law, then faith is not necessary and the promise is pointless.

PROMISE

God has promised that you will have a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.  His promise to you is that by faith you can depend on Him.  God is trustworthy.  You are the recipient of His love and grace gift-new life in Jesus Christ.  Ask Him and He is faithful and righteous to forgive.

JUNE 23 – ALREADY

06/23          Romans 4:8

8 Yes, what joy for those whose record the LORD has cleared of sin.”  9Now, is this blessing only for the Jews, or is it also for uncircumcised Gentiles? Well, we have been saying that Abraham was counted as righteous by God because of his faith. 10 But how did this happen? Was he counted as righteous only after he was circumcised, or was it before he was circumcised? Clearly, God accepted Abraham before he was circumcised! 11 Circumcision was a sign that Abraham already had faith and that God had already accepted him and declared him to be righteous—even before he was circumcised. So Abraham is the spiritual father of those who have faith but have not been circumcised. They are counted as righteous because of their faith.

ALREADY

We look to Jesus for our salvation.  He forgives us, He cleans us up and presents us to the Father bathed in His righteousness.  All we do is believe.  I believe the Lord and He has already done everything I need to be in a right relationship with our Father God.  Father, Son and Holy Spirit breathe on me and make me the kind of person that you can use.  The Lord was able to use Abraham because He believed God.  I believe God and have faith that Jesus has saved me.  Praise the Lord.

JUNE 22 – SAVED

06/22          Romans 4:6

David also spoke of this when he described the happiness of those who are declared righteous without working for it: 7 “Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sins are put out of sight.

SAVED

You can say it many different ways but the truth is that Jesus has saved us from our sin.  He brings peace with God and His righteousness into our life.  Praise God for His solution to our lost-ness.  Jesus is Lord.

JUNE 21 – GRACE

06/21          Romans 4:4-5

When people work, their wages are not a gift, but something they have earned.  5 But people are counted as righteous, not because of their work, but because of their faith in God who forgives sinners.

GRACE

Our faith in Jesus is the reason that we can stand in the face of our sin.  Jesus forgives us.  We accept His forgiveness and seek His guidance to live each day.  We do what we do right now.  We are becoming more like Jesus.

JUNE 20 – BELIEVE

06/20          Romans 4:1-3

Abraham was, humanly speaking, the founder of our Jewish nation. What did he discover about being made right with God? 2 If his good deeds had made him acceptable to God, he would have had something to boast about. But that was not God’s way. 3 For the Scriptures tell us, “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.”

BELIEVE

We believe that the Lord God is a just and good God and that what He says He will do He does.  HE saves us and we believe it.  Faith is the activity of believing that the Lord has put us in relationship with Himself.  Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith.  This relationship is a gift from God to us.
