JUNE 10 – ONE

06/10          Romans 3:5-10

“But,” some might say, “our sinfulness serves a good purpose, for it helps people see how righteous God is. Isn’t it unfair, then, for him to punish us?” (This is merely a human point of view.) 6 Of course not! If God were not entirely fair, how would he be qualified to judge the world?

7 “But,” someone might still argue, “how can God condemn me as a sinner if my dishonesty highlights his truthfulness and brings him more glory?” 8 And some people even slander us by claiming that we say, “The more we sin, the better it is!” Those who say such things deserve to be condemned. 9 Well then, should we conclude that we Jews are better than others? No, not at all, for we have already shown that all people, whether Jews or Gentiles, are under the power of sin.  10 As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous— not even one.

ONE

The absolute number-NO ONE is righteous.  We are desperate for His presence, desperate for His wisdom, desperate to be in charge and yet we fail so sadly for no one is righteous.  Jesus gives us His righteousness.  Jesus saves us from eternal separation from the Father.  Jesus is Lord.

JUNE 9 – TRUE

06/09          Romans 3:1-4

Then what’s the advantage of being a Jew? Is there any value in the ceremony of circumcision? 2 Yes, there are great benefits! First of all, the Jews were entrusted with the whole revelation of God. 3True, some of them were unfaithful; but just because they were unfaithful, does that mean God will be unfaithful? 4 Of course not! Even if everyone else is a liar, God is true. As the Scriptures say about him, “You will be proved right in what you say, and you will win your case in court.”

TRUE

God is true.  He is always true.  His Word will not cease for God Almighty is true.  Do not measure yourself by others.  Do not evauluate God based on what your eye sees our your mind thinks for God is eternal and He knows all things and He is always true.

JUNE 8 – THANK YOU

06/08          Psalm 56:12-13

I will fulfill my vows to you, O God, and will offer a sacrifice of thanks for your help.  13 For you have rescued me from death; you have kept my feet from slipping. So now I can walk in your presence, O God, in your life-giving light.

THANK YOU

I want to thank you Lord.  So much to be thankful for it is hard to know where to start but I will start with salvation.  Thank you for my life with you.  Thank you for security.  Thank you that you are constantly pursuing me.  Thank you Lord.  Thank you.

JUNE 7 – SAFE

06/07          Psalm 56:11
I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?

SAFE
The Lord is in charge.  I am safe in Him.  Jesus knows all about me and is able to keep me.  He will never lose me or leave me.  The Lord God almighty is in charge and I belong to Him.

JUNE 6 – PRAISE

06/06          Psalm 56:10

I praise God for what he has promised; yes, I praise the LORD for what he has promised.

PRAISE

The Lord God is so wonderful.  He is so involved in our life, seeking our best good and He loves us.  He richly deserves our praise.  We praise Him with our voice, with our mind and with our hearts.  The Lord God almighty is worthy of every form of praise that we can offer up to Him.  Our obedience, our faithfulness, our service and our love all come together in praise to the Father, the Holy Spirit and the Lord Jesus Christ as we spend time with them and seek to let them know our devotion and love.  Jesus is Lord and He is worthy of all our praise honor and glory.  Thank you Lord.  We praise you.

JUNE 5 – SAVING

06/05          Psalm 56:9

My enemies will retreat when I call to you for help. This I know: God is on my side!

SAVING

Our God-the Lord- is a saving God.  He seeks our best good.  He knows what is best for us and will guide us in the way we should go if we will just listen to Him.  When we get on the wrong path He, the Lord, will bring us back to the right path.  He never lets us out of His sight.  He is always with us.  Jesus is Lord and He loves you.

JUNE 4 – CLOSER

06/04          Psalm 56:8

You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.

CLOSER

The Lord is closer than a brother.  He knows everything you have gone through, are going through and will go through-the Lord knows everything and He cares for you.  He tracks you everywhere you go.  He is not surprised by anything you do.  His willingness to forgive you is based upon the depth of His love for you-Jesus loves you.

JUNE 3 – LORD

06/03          Psalm 56:3

But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.  4 I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?  5 They are always twisting what I say; they spend their days plotting to harm me.  6 They come together to spy on me— watching my every step, eager to kill me.  7 Don’t let them get away with their wickedness; in your anger, O God, bring them down.

LORD

Lord I trust in you and trust your activity in my life.  You always do the right thing.  Today I trust you.

JUNE 2 – LIFE

06/02          Psalm 56:1-2
O God, have mercy on me, for people are hounding me. My foes attack me all day long. 2 I am constantly hounded by those who slander me, and many are boldly attacking me.

LIFE
Real life is real hard.  We are often overcome by life’s drama and search for a way to deal with our daily life.  Turn to Jesus.  Ask Him to help you and He will.  Live life one day at a time surrendered to Jesus and you will survive and thrive.  Every day is a good day.

JUNE 1 – HEART

06/01          Romans 2:25-29
The Jewish ceremony of circumcision has value only if you obey God’s law. But if you don’t obey God’s law, you are no better off than an uncircumcised Gentile.  26 And if the Gentiles obey God’s law, won’t God declare them to be his own people?  27 In fact, uncircumcised Gentiles who keep God’s law will condemn you Jews who are circumcised and possess God’s law but don’t obey it.  28 For you are not a true Jew just because you were born of Jewish parents or because you have gone through the ceremony of circumcision. 29 No, a true Jew is one whose heart is right with God. And true circumcision is not merely obeying the letter of the law; rather, it is a change of heart produced by the Spirit. And a person with a changed heart seeks praise from God, not from people.

HEART
It’s a heart matter-how we live-what we do!  When we are overwhelmed we go to Jesus.  When we don’t know what else to do we go to Jesus.  Jesus is the difference.  Jesus changes our heart-He cleanses us from unrighteousness, He nourishes and strengthens the soul.  Jesus is the difference in life as we face a cruel and devastating world.
