APRIL 20 – TRUST

04/20                  Matthew 10:9-10

“Don’t take any money in your money belts—no gold, silver, or even copper coins. 10 Don’t carry a traveler’s bag with a change of clothes and sandals or even a walking stick. Don’t hesitate to accept hospitality, because those who work deserve to be fed.

TRUST

We believe God therefore we live under His control.  Let go and let Jesus use you where He would have you go.

APRIL 19 – GIVE

04/19                  Matthew 10:5-8

Jesus sent out the twelve apostles with these instructions: “Don’t go to the Gentiles or the Samaritans, 6 but only to the people of Israel—God’s lost sheep. 7 Go and announce to them that the Kingdom of Heaven is near. 8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received!

GIVE

A significant aspect of our daily life is to give.  We give of ourselves, of our resources and our heart.  We love Jesus.  He loves us.  We love one another.

APRIL 18 – WORK

04/18                  Matthew 10:1-4

Jesus called his twelve disciples together and gave them authority to cast out evil spirits and to heal every kind of disease and illness. 2 Here are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (also called Peter), then Andrew (Peter’s brother), James (son of Zebedee), John (James’s brother), 3 Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew (the tax collector), James (son of Alphaeus), Thaddaeus, 4 Simon (the zealot ), Judas Iscariot (who later betrayed him).

WORK

The Kingdom’s work is there for each of us to be involved in and constantly learning and teaching.  There is a symmetry in life as a child of God: listen, obey, listen and obey.  Jesus teaches, we listen and then obey.

APRIL 17 – WORKERS

04/17                  Matthew 9:35-38

Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. 38 So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”

WORKERS
We need workers in the field extolling what Jesus is doing in their life.  We cannot change the world by condemning it.  We change the world when we change ourselves.  As we become more like Jesus we will busy about our Lord’s business.  Tell everyone about what Jesus is doing in your life.

APRIL 16 – SEE

04/16                  Matthew 9:32-34

When they left, a demon-possessed man who couldn’t speak was brought to Jesus. 33 So Jesus cast out the demon, and then the man began to speak. The crowds were amazed. “Nothing like this has ever happened in Israel!” they exclaimed. 34 But the Pharisees said, “He can cast out demons because he is empowered by the prince of demons.”

SEE

Make sure that you see the truth.  Jesus was the truth.  The world is the lie.  The Lord is seeking you.  He is seeking your best good.  Bend your knee to Jesus and let Him give you the wisdom, mercy, grace and understanding you need each day.

APRIL 15 – FOCUS

04/15                  Matthew 9:27-31

After Jesus left the girl’s home, two blind men followed along behind him, shouting, “Son of David, have mercy on us!” 28 They went right into the house where he was staying, and Jesus asked them, “Do you believe I can make you see?” “Yes, Lord,” they told him, “we do.” 29 Then he touched their eyes and said, “Because of your faith, it will happen.” 30 Then their eyes were opened, and they could see! Jesus sternly warned them, “Don’t tell anyone about this.” 31 But instead, they went out and spread his fame all over the region.

FOCUS

Jesus wanted the blind me to focus on the Father.  It was the power of God that healed them.  As you live your life and the Lord sends healing your way or solves a problem you are facing by miraculous fixing the situation remember to keep the focus on the Lord-praise Him not the situation change.  Praise the Lord.

APRIL 14 – ALIVE

04/14                  Matthew 9:23-26

When Jesus arrived at the official’s home, he saw the noisy crowd and heard the funeral music. 24 “Get out!” he told them. “The girl isn’t dead; she’s only asleep.” But the crowd laughed at him. 25 After the crowd was put outside, however, Jesus went in and took the girl by the hand, and she stood up! 26 The report of this miracle swept through the entire countryside.

ALIVE

The little girl was dead.  Jesus took her by the hand and she was alive.  In Jesus Christ we are raised from death in our sin to new life in Jesus Christ.  He is Lord, Lord of all.

APRIL 13 – FAITH

04/13                  Matthew 9:20-22

Just then a woman who had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding came up behind him. She touched the fringe of his robe, 21 for she thought, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.” 22 Jesus turned around, and when he saw her he said, “Daughter, be encouraged! Your faith has made you well.” And the woman was healed at that moment.

FAITH

The woman with the bleeding had faith.  She touched His robe and her faith in Jesus healed her.  Put your faith and trust in Jesus.  He will not disappoint you.

APRIL 12 – HELP

04/12                  Matthew 9:18-19

As Jesus was saying this, the leader of a synagogue came and knelt before him. “My daughter has just died,” he said, “but you can bring her back to life again if you just come and lay your hand on her.” 19 So Jesus and his disciples got up and went with him.

HELP

The leader of the synagogue asked for help.  Jesus went with him to his house.  The leader believed in Jesus.  Do you?  Look at your life.  Give it to Jesus.  He will fix the problems you are facing.

APRIL 11 – NEW

04/11                  Matthew 9:14-17

One day the disciples of John the Baptist came to Jesus and asked him, “Why don’t your disciples fast like we do and the Pharisees do?” 15 Jesus replied, “Do wedding guests mourn while celebrating with the groom? Of course not. But someday the groom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast. 16 “Besides, who would patch old clothing with new cloth? For the new patch would shrink and rip away from the old cloth, leaving an even bigger tear than before. 17 “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the old skins would burst from the pressure, spilling the wine and ruining the skins. New wine is stored in new wineskins so that both are preserved.”

NEW
Jesus teaching is that the Savior has come.  God has reached into our world and given us what we need and cannot earn-forgiveness for our sin, and right standing before God the Father.  Praise the Lord we are free indeed and Jesus has brought us into the family of God.
