JUNE 19 – FAITH

06/19.         Romans 3:29-31

After all, is God the God of the Jews only? Isn’t he also the God of the Gentiles? Of course he is. 30 There is only one God, and he makes people right with himself only by faith, whether they are Jews or Gentiles. 31 Well then, if we emphasize faith, does this mean that we can forget about the law? Of course not! In fact, only when we have faith do we truly fulfill the law.

FAITH

We do all things in Christ including our faith in Him.  I believe in Jesus.  Lord help my unbelief.  Clean me up Lord and guide me today.

JUNE 18 – FAITH

06/18.         Romans 3:27-28

Can we boast, then, that we have done anything to be accepted by God? No, because our acquittal is not based on obeying the law. It is based on faith. 28 So we are made right with God through faith and not by obeying the law.

FAITH

We believe what God has said in Jesus Christ.  We live our life with full confidence in His Word.  You have been saved.  We believe this and it impacts everything we do.  No longer on our own we belong to the Lord.  He will never leave us and willingly involves Himself in everything we do.

JUNE 17 – RIGHT

06/17.         Romans 3:25-26

For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, 26 for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he himself is fair and just, and he declares sinners to be right in his sight when they believe in Jesus.

RIGHT

As a free gift the Lord God declares us righteous.  He decided this before anything was and it extends to this very moment.  When we come into the family of God we live and exist and are because of the sacrificial work of the Lord Jesus Christ.  His free gift of life is so that no one can boast for each and every one of us has sinned and Jesus gives us His righteousness.

JUNE 16 – GIFT

06/16. Romans 3:24
Yet God freely and graciously declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.
GIFT
Salvation is a gift of God so that no on can boast. It is all from Jesus. No such thing as working your way to Christ. Jesus saves and He is Lord.

JUNE 15 – ASK

06/15. Romans 3:22-23
We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is
true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. 23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.
ASK
Ask Jesus to forgive you of your sin. Lest you come as a little child trusting the Lord to do what he said he will you will not find Him. Trust in the Lord and He will do it.

JUNE 14 – FAITH

06/14. Romans 3:21
But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago.
FAITH
By faith we trust Jesus to save us. He brings us into a right relationship with the Father. It is not what can I do? We do not have a works relationship with the Lord.

JUNE 13 – SIN

06/13. Romans 3:20
For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law
commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are.
SIN
I proclaim my innocence and moan how badly the world treats me. Two things to note that the world will always treat us badly and we are always sinners. Only by e blood of Christ do we find absolution and forgiveness. Jesus brings us into a relationship to the Father. We bring nothing good to the relationship. Only because we have turned to Jesus do we find cleansing and He gives us His righteousness.

JUNE 12 – ALL

06/12 Romans 3:19
Obviously, the law applies to those to whom it was given, for its purpose is to
keep people from having excuses, and to show that the entire world is guilty
before God.
ALL
you, me, everyone that has ever been born, except Jesus is a sinner. Jesus saves us from this sin, gives us a relationship with the Father and He will never leave us. Praise the Lord from whom all blessings flow.

JUNE 11 – ME

06/11 Romans 3:11-18
No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. 12 All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one.” 13 “Their talk is foul, like the stench from an open grave. Their tongues are filled with lies.” “Snake venom drips from their lips.” 14 “Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.” 15 “ They rush to commit murder. 16 Destruction and misery always follow them. 17 They don’t know where to find peace.”18 “They have no fear of God at all.”
ME
The only good in me is Jesus Christ. His sacrifice saved me. He came that I might have life. He gives light to my daily walk. He is s Lord.

JUNE 10 – ONE

06/10          Romans 3:5-10

“But,” some might say, “our sinfulness serves a good purpose, for it helps people see how righteous God is. Isn’t it unfair, then, for him to punish us?” (This is merely a human point of view.) 6 Of course not! If God were not entirely fair, how would he be qualified to judge the world?

7 “But,” someone might still argue, “how can God condemn me as a sinner if my dishonesty highlights his truthfulness and brings him more glory?” 8 And some people even slander us by claiming that we say, “The more we sin, the better it is!” Those who say such things deserve to be condemned. 9 Well then, should we conclude that we Jews are better than others? No, not at all, for we have already shown that all people, whether Jews or Gentiles, are under the power of sin.  10 As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous— not even one.

ONE

The absolute number-NO ONE is righteous.  We are desperate for His presence, desperate for His wisdom, desperate to be in charge and yet we fail so sadly for no one is righteous.  Jesus gives us His righteousness.  Jesus saves us from eternal separation from the Father.  Jesus is Lord.
