JANUARY 12 – BELIEVE

1/12 John 9:35-38
When Jesus heard what had happened, he found the man and said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man ?” 36 The man answered, “Who is he, sir, because I would like to.” 37 “You have seen him,” Jesus said, “and he is speaking to you!” 38 “Yes, Lord,” the man said, “I believe!” And he worshiped Jesus.
BELIEVE
You must believe in Jesus to be a part of the family of God. Jesus is the only way to God. There is no other way to the Father.

JANUARY 11 – BLIND

1/11 John 9:26-34
“But what did he do?” they asked. “How did he heal you?” 27 “Look!” the man exclaimed. “I told you once. Didn’t you listen? Why do you want to hear it again? Do you want to become his disciples, too?” 28 Then they cursed him and said, “You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses. 29 We know God spoke to Moses, but as for this man, we don’t know anything about him.” 30 “Why, that’s very strange!” the man replied. “He healed my eyes, and yet you don’t know anything about him! 31 Well, God doesn’t listen to sinners, but he is ready to hear those who worship him and do his will. 32 Never since the world began has anyone been able to open the eyes of someone born blind. 33 If this man were not from God, he couldn’t do it.” 34 “You were born in sin!” they answered. “Are you trying to teach us?” And they threw him out of the synagogue.
BLIND
It was the Pharisees who were blind. They were in the presence of the Lord and they didn’t see it. Don’t let that happen to you. Jesus loves you.

JANUARY 10 – SEE

1/10. John 9:8-25
His neighbors and others who knew him as a blind beggar asked each other, “Is this the same man — that beggar?” 9 Some said he was, and others said, “No, but he surely looks like him!”And the beggar kept saying, “I am the same man!” 10 They asked, “Who healed you? What happened?” 11 He told them, ” the man they call Jesus made mud and smoothed it over my eyes and told me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash off the mud.’ I went and washed, and now I can see!” 12 “Where is he now?” they asked.”I don’t know,”
he replied. 13 hen they took the man to the Pharisees. 14 Now as it happened,
Jesus had healed the man on a Sabbath. 15 he Pharisees asked the man all about it. So he told them, “He smoothed the mud over my eyes, and when it was
washed away, I could see!” 16 Some of the Pharisees said, ” this man Jesus is
not from God, for he is working on the Sabbath.” Others said, “But how could
an ordinary sinner do such miraculous signs?” So there was a deep division of
opinion among them. 17 Then the Pharisees once again questioned the man who
had been blind and demanded, ” his man who opened your eyes — who do you
say he is?” he man replied, “I think he must be a prophet.” 18 The Jewish
leaders wouldn’t believe he had been blind, so they called in his parents. 19 they asked them, “Is this your son? Was he born blind? If so, how can he see?” 20
His parents replied, “We know this is our son and that he was born blind, 21 but
we don’t know how he can see or who healed him. He is old enough to speak for
himself. Ask him.” 22 They said this because they were afraid of the Jewish
leaders, who had announced that anyone saying Jesus was the Messiah would be
expelled from the synagogue. 23 That’s why they said, “He is old enough to
speak for himself. Ask him.” 24 So for the second time they called in the man
who had been blind and told him, “Give glory to God by telling the truth,
because we know Jesus is a sinner.” 25 “I don’t know whether he is a sinner,”
the man replied. “But I know this: I was blind, and now I can see!”
SEE
when Jesus came into our life he removed the blindness of sin and now we can see. Praise the Lord that we can see.

JANUARY 9 – HEALER

1/9. John 9:1-7
As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man who had been blind from birth. 2 ” Teacher,” his disciples asked him, “why was this man born blind? Was it a result of his own sins or those of his parents?” 3 “It was not because of his sins or his parents’ sins,” Jesus answered. “He was born blind so the power of God could be seen in him. 4 All of us must quickly carry out the tasks assigned
us by the one who sent me, because there is little time left before the night falls and all work comes to an end. 5 But while I am still here in the world, I am the light of the world.” 6 Then he spit on the ground, made mud with the saliva, and smoothed the mud over the blind man’s eyes. 7 He told him, “Go and wash in
the pool of Siloam” (Siloam means Sent). So the man went and washed, and
came back seeing!
HEALER
Healing was a part of Jesus’ ministry. He was the perfect healer. Take your troubles and woes to Jesus and He will heal you.

JANUARY 8 – HOPE

1/8 Psalm 31:20-23
In the shelter of your presence you hide them from the intrigues of men; in your
dwelling you keep them safe from accusing tongues. 21 Praise be to the LORD,
for he showed his wonderful love to me when I was in a besieged city. 22 In my
alarm I said, “I am cut off from your sight!” Yet you heard my cry for mercy
when I called to you for help. 23 Love the LORD, all his saints! The LORD
preserves the faithful, but the proud he pays back in full. 24 Be strong and take
heart, all you who hope in the LORD.
HOPE
We have hope in Jesus. He has saved us and He will walk with us day by day saving us into the family of God and unto that day when all things come to an end. Jesus is our Savior.

JANUARY 7 – REFUGE

1/7 Psalm 31:15-19
My times are in your hands; deliver me from my enemies and from those who
pursue me. 16 Let your face shine on your servant; save me in your unfailing
love. 17 Let me not be put to shame, O LORD, for I have cried out to you; but let the wicked be put to shame and lie silent in the grave. 18 Let their lying lips be silenced, for with pride and contempt they speak arrogantly against the righteous. 19 How great is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you, which you bestow in the sight of men on those who take refuge in you.
REFUGE
The Lord is our refuge. In Christ we have victory in our life. In Jesus we are and will be undefeated.

JANUARY 6 – TRUST

1/6 Psalm 31:8-14
You have not handed me over to the enemy but have set my feet in a spacious
place. 9 Be merciful to me, O LORD, for I am in distress; my eyes grow weak
with sorrow, my soul and my body with grief. 10 My life is consumed by anguish
and my years by groaning; my strength fails because of my affliction, and my
bones grow weak. 11 Because of all my enemies, I am the utter contempt of my
neighbors; I am a dread to my friends– those who see me on the street flee from
me. 12 I am forgotten by them as though I were dead; I have become like broken-pottery. 13 For I hear the slander of many; there is terror on every side; they
conspire against me and plot to take my life. 14 But I trust in you, O LORD; I
say, “You are my God.”
TRUST
Trust in the Lord. He is trustworthy.

JANUARY 5 – KNEW

1/5 Psalm 31:5-7
Into your hands I commit my spirit; redeem me, O LORD, the God of truth. 6 I
hate those who cling to worthless idols; I trust in the LORD. 7 I will be glad and
rejoice in your love, for you saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul.
KNEW
Jesus knew my pain before I felt it. He knows everything that is going on in my life. Lord hear me as I pray and He does.

JANUARY 4 – STRENGTH

1/4 Psalm 31:3-4
Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide
me. 4 Free me from the trap that is set for me, for you are my refuge.
STRENGTH
The Lord is my strength. He is there for me no matter what I face or how I respond.

JANUARY 3 – SALVATION

1/3 Psalm 31:1-2
In you, O LORD, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me
in your righteousness. 2 Turn your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue; be my
rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me.
SALVATION
THere is salvation in no other. Jesus is the only way to the Father. Ask Jesus to forgive you and come into your heart.
