JAN. 6 – PROV. 23:18

01/06          PROVERBS 23:18

18 You will be rewarded for this; your hope will not be disappointed.

HOPE

Hope in God.

He is worthy of all our hopes and dreams.

Hope in God.

He loves you.

Hope in God.

He has saved you.

Hope in God.

He is coming back for you.

JAN. 5 – JER. 29:11

01/05          JEREMIAH 29:11

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD . “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

ACTIVITY

The activity of the Lord God includes thoughts of you.

He thinks of you all the time.

Every thought the Lord has towards you is a thought for good.

He does not think like we do.

He knows everything about you and still loves you completely.

Jesus loves you.

JAN. 4 – DEUT. 7:13

01/04          DEUTERONOMY 7:13

13 He will love you and bless you, and he will give you many children. He will give fertility to your land and your animals. When you arrive in the land he swore to give your ancestors, you will have large harvests of grain, new wine, and olive oil, and great herds of cattle, sheep, and goats.

GOD

God our Father has good plans for our life.

Even though our way looks good and right it isn’t.

God’s way is surrender, peace and joy.

Follow Jesus, not your own broken, corrupt way.

JAN. 3 – EPH. 4:20-24

01/03          EPHESIANS 4:20-24

20 But that isn’t what you learned about Christ. 21 Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from him, 22 throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. 23 Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. 24 Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.

CHOICE

Choose God, put on the new nature He gives us.

This new nature makes us righteous and holy as He is holy.

Choose self, keep doing what you have always done.

The sin nature will continue to control you.

Success or failure, our choice.

Choose Jesus.

JAN. 2 – ISA. 43:19

01/02          ISAIAH 43:19

19 For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.

DO

Do something new in me today Father.

Make my way Your way.

Speak a word of blessing to my heart.

Cover me with your protection,

As evil wages war against us.

Lift me up and set me down in your presence.

JAN. 1 – ROMANS 8:18

01/01          ROMANS 8:18

18 Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.

LIFE

Life is for living.  We are called to cast our burdens upon the Lord and live with joy and peace.

Father, my prayer today for this year is that I will consistently cast my burdens upon you and claim the joy and peace that Jesus offers for each moment of each day.  PRAISE GOD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW.

DEC. 31 – PS. 98:1

12/31          PSALM 98:1

DEC. 30 – 2 COR. 5:17

12/30          2 CORINTHIANS 5:17

17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

DEC. 29 – ISA. 40:30-31

12/29          ISAIAH 40:30-31

30 Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion.

31 But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

DEC 28 – MT. 2:7-12

12/28          Matthew 2:7-12

7 Then Herod called for a private meeting with the wise men, and he learned from them the time when the star first appeared. 8 Then he told them, “Go to Bethlehem and search carefully for the child. And when you find him, come back and tell me so that I can go and worship him, too!”

9 After this interview the wise men went their way. And the star they had seen in the east guided them to Bethlehem. It went ahead of them and stopped over the place where the child was. 10 When they saw the star, they were filled with joy! 11 They entered the house and saw the child with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

12 When it was time to leave, they returned to their own country by another route, for God had warned them in a dream not to return to Herod.
