SEPT 17 – REQUEST

09/17 Psalm 119:123-124
My eyes strain to see your deliverance, to see the truth of your promise fulfilled. 124 I am your servant; deal with me in unfailing love, and teach me your principles.
REQUEST
Request what you need from the Lord. Jesus will equip you for real life, eternal life from this moment forward. Jesus is Lord and He will give you what you need to live your life under His control.

SEPT 16 – FEAR

09/16 Psalm 119:120-122
I tremble in fear of you; I fear your judgments. 121 Don’t leave me to the mercy of my enemies, for I have done what is just and right. 122 Please guarantee a blessing for me. Don’t let those who are arrogant oppress me!
FEAR
Fear God and you will not have to fear anyone or anything else. Jesus brings us life. When we accept life in Christ we are freed from oppression by the world. Ask Jesus to forgive you and give you life and He will.

SEPT 15 – FORGIVEN

09/15 Luke 7:48
Then Jesus said to the woman, “Your sins are forgiven.” 49 The men at the table said among themselves, “Who does this man think he is, going around forgiving sins?” 50 And Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”
FORGIVEN
Are you guilty? Jesus will forgive you. Can you solve you sin problem? Jesus can. Put your faith in Jesus and He will give you the gift of life, you will be truly forgiven

SEPT 14 – ACT

09/14 Luke 7:44
Then he turned to the woman and said to Simon, “Look at this woman kneeling here. When I entered your home, you didn’t offer me water to wash the dust from my feet, but she has washed them with her tears and wiped them with her hair. 45 You didn’t give me a kiss of greeting, but she has kissed my feet again and again from the time I first came in. 46 You neglected the courtesy of olive oil to anoint my head, but she has anointed my feet with rare perfume. 47 I tell you, her sins — and they are many — have been forgiven, so she has shown me much love. But a person who is forgiven little shows only little love.”
ACT
Love is not a thought it is an act. If I love you I will treat you with love. I can say I love you but if I treat you bad I don’t love you. I may want to control you but love changes the way I treat you.

SEPT 13 – WHO DO YOU LOVE?

09/13 Luke 7:40-43
Then Jesus spoke up and answered his thoughts. “Simon,” he said to the Pharisee, “I have something to say to you.” “All right, Teacher,” Simon replied, “go ahead.” 41 Then Jesus told him this story: “A man loaned money to two people — five hundred pieces of silver to one and fifty pieces to the other. 42 But neither of them could repay him, so he kindly forgave them both, canceling their debts. Who do you suppose loved him more after that?” 43 Simon answered, “I suppose the one for whom he canceled the larger debt.” “That’s right,” Jesus said.
WHO DO YOU LOVE?
A great song and a good question: Who do you love? If someone were observing you would they know you are a Child of God? Do you have God’s interests in your heart each day? You can if you will spend just a few minutes at the beginning of each day. Jesus loves you.

SEPT 12 – SINNER

09/12 Luke 7:39
When the Pharisee who was the host saw what was happening and who the woman was, he said to himself, “This proves that Jesus is no prophet. If God had really sent him, he would know what kind of woman is touching him. She’s a sinner!”
SINNER
Jesus forgives sin and the sinner. We all sin. Sin is all around us. Jesus offers us forgiveness of our sin and brings us into the Family of God. If you haven’t asked Jesus to forgive your sin do it now and He will.

SEPT 11 – PEOPLE

09/11 Luke 7:35-38
But wisdom is shown to be right by the lives of those who follow it. ” 36 One of the Pharisees asked Jesus to come to his home for a meal, so Jesus accepted the invitation and sat down to eat. 37 A certain immoral woman heard he was there and brought a beautiful jar filled with expensive perfume. 38 Then she knelt behind him at his feet, weeping. Her tears fell on his feet, and she wiped them off with her hair. Then she kept kissing his feet and putting perfume on them.
PEOPLE
People count with the Lord. Rich people, poor people, good people, evil people all people count with the Lord. Anyone can be saved but if it is what they want. We choose whether we will become part of the family of God and Jesus offers us that opportunity.

SEPT 10 – HOW

09/10 Luke 7:31-34
“How shall I describe this generation?” Jesus asked. “With what will I compare them? 32 They are like a group of children playing a game in the public square. They complain to their friends, ‘We played wedding songs, and you weren’t happy, so we played funeral songs, but you weren’t sad.’ 33 For John the Baptist didn’t drink wine and he often fasted, and you say, ‘He’s demon possessed.’ 34 And I, the Son of Man, feast and drink, and you say, ‘He’s a glutton and a drunkard, and a friend of the worst sort of sinners!’
HOW
How can we describe this generation: Selfish, self-centered, the land stained by abortion and even worse the law of the land honoring sin? Look around and make a decision: I will follow the Lord or I will follow self. Your choice and it has eternal consequences. Choose which way you will go but remember Jesus is calling each one of us to follow Him.

SEPT 9 – HEAR

09/09 Luke 7:28-30
I tell you, of all who have ever lived, none is greater than John. Yet even the most insignificant person in the Kingdom of God is greater than he is!” 29 When they heard this, all the people, including the unjust tax collectors, agreed that God’s plan was right, for they had been baptized by John. 30 But the Pharisees and experts in religious law had rejected God’s plan for them, for they had refused John’s baptism.
HEAR
Hear God’s Word to you “be saved.” As a result of being saved you now have the ability to proclaim this Good News to everyone. Jesus saves is certainly true. We trust Him to forgive us and give us new life and this new life is guaranteed by Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus is Lord.

SEPT 8 – CALLED

09/08 Luke 7:24-27
After they left, Jesus talked to the crowd about John. “Who is this man in the wilderness that you went out to see? Did you find him weak as a reed, moved by every breath of wind? 25 Or were you expecting to see a man dressed in expensive clothes? No, people who wear beautiful clothes and live in luxury are found in palaces, not in the wilderness. 26 Were you looking for a prophet? Yes, and he is more than a prophet. 27 John is the man to whom the Scriptures refer when they say, ‘Look, I am sending my messenger before you, and he will prepare your way before you.’
CALLED
John was called of God to proclaim his message of a call to repentance preparing the way for Jesus. Now in our day Jesus has come nearly 2,000 years ago and we are charged by God to proclaim the message that Jesus loves you. Don’t forget about John but especially don’t forget the opportunity you have to partner with Jesus in spreading the Good News that Christ offers us the free gift of life when we believe in Him. Jesus loves you!
