6/08 Mark 3:23-26
Jesus called them over and said to them by way of illustration, “How can Satan cast out Satan? 24 A kingdom at war with itself will collapse. 25 A home divided against itself is doomed. 26 And if Satan is fighting against himself, how can he stand? He would never survive.
TRUTH
Jesus shares the truth and the teachers didn’t recognize it. Not because they weren’t smart but because they were un-teachable about the Lord and the things of God. Jesus is the Creator and He knew all things and they would not listen to Him. Wisdom comes from the Lord. I would encourage you to listen to Jesus and He will make your pathway straight.

6/07 Mark 3:22
But the teachers of religious law who had arrived from Jerusalem said, “He’s possessed by Satan, the prince of demons. That’s where he gets the power to cast out demons.”
LIARS
Liars plotted to destroy Jesus. What they didn’t realize is that He already knew what they were up to and their plot was a part of His plan. Don’t be surprised by the world. Plotting is normal. Just remember that the Lord makes the plan for your life and He will make all things work together for good for those that love Him and are doing His will.
6/06 Mark 3:20
When Jesus returned to the house where he was staying, the crowds began to gather again, and soon he and his disciples couldn’t even find time to eat. 21 When his family heard what was happening, they tried to take him home with them. “He’s out of his mind,” they said.
KNEW
Family and friends knew that Jesus was teaching differently than the status quo. They thought he was nuts. What do you think about Jesus? What you think will make a difference in your life.
6/05 Mark 3:13
Afterward Jesus went up on a mountain and called the ones he wanted to go with him. And they came to him. 14 Then he selected twelve of them to be his regular companions, calling them apostles. He sent them out to preach, 15 and he gave them authority to cast out demons. 16 These are the names of the twelve he chose: Simon (he renamed him Peter), 17 James and John (the sons of Zebedee, but Jesus nicknamed them “Sons of Thunder” ), 18 Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James (son of Alphaeus), Thaddaeus, Simon (the Zealot ), 19 Judas Iscariot (who later betrayed him).
LORD
During His time on earth the Lord had a very specific plan that He followed. That plan led straight to the Cross. Today Jesus is calling us to give up our self life and follow Him. Trust in the Lord and He will change the way you live your life. His way is the way of life. His way shines His light into the darkness of the world and guides us every step of our way.
6/04 Mark 3:11
And whenever those possessed by evil spirits caught sight of him, they would fall down in front of him shrieking, “You are the Son of God!” 12 But Jesus strictly warned them not to say who he was.
SON
Jesus is the SON of God, the Creator of all things and He wants to have a relationship with you. Please note that the demons know who Jesus is. Therefore we need to take the time necessary to build a close relationship with the Lord. Begin today.
6/03 Mark 3:9
Jesus instructed his disciples to bring around a boat and to have it ready in case he was crowded off the beach. 10 There had been many healings that day. As a result, many sick people were crowding around him, trying to touch him.
JESUS
You have 24/7 access to the Lord. He loves you and is concerned about how you are living your life. He will help you to stay on target for living a Godly life. He will remind you when you need to change and when you need to stand firm. Jesus is Lord.
6/02 Mark 3:7-8
Jesus and his disciples went out to the lake, followed by a huge crowd from all over Galilee, Judea, 8 Jerusalem, Idumea, from east of the Jordan River, and even from as far away as Tyre and Sidon. The news about his miracles had spread far and wide, and vast numbers of people came to see him for themselves.
PEOPLE
The people wanted someone to give them what they wanted. They missed what Jesus was bringing, eternal life and instead were looking for creature comforts. Do not be fooled life is real and we must learn to deal with it by His light and His life. Jesus is Lord and we are His subjects. He doesn’t do what we say, we are called to do what He says.
6/01 Mark 3:5-6
He looked around at them angrily, because he was deeply disturbed by their hard hearts. Then he said to the man, “Reach out your hand.” The man reached out his hand, and it became normal again! 6 At once the Pharisees went away and met with the supporters of Herod to discuss plans for killing Jesus.
HATE
Hate darkens our mind and causes us to do foolish things. The Pharisees loved their power and hated Jesus for questioning them. They thought they had “God in a Box” and were the only arbiters of what God does and doesn’t do. Jesus is Lord indeed He is God and was standing before them, the Creator of all things being condemned by these foolish men. Don’t get yourself in a conflict with the Lord instead ask Him what you are to do and do it.
5/31 Mark 3:3-4
Jesus said to the man, “Come and stand in front of everyone.” 4 Then he turned to his critics and asked, “Is it legal to do good deeds on the Sabbath, or is it a day for doing harm? Is this a day to save life or to destroy it?” But they wouldn’t answer him.
WISDOM
Jesus sought to share Godly wisdom with the people there and they missed it. What are you doing today? Are you missing wisdom from the Lord because you aren’t listening? Bend the knee to Jesus and let Him teach you day by day. Jesus is Lord and is seeking to help you.
5/30 Mark 3:1-2
Jesus went into the synagogue again and noticed a man with a deformed hand. 2 Since it was the Sabbath, Jesus’ enemies watched him closely. Would he heal the man’s hand on the Sabbath? If he did, they planned to condemn him.
JESUS
Jesus knows what is going on and what needs to be done. He had a purpose for healing the man’s hand and the Sabbath didn’t affect that purpose. Jesus loves us. What we do will not change His attitude towards us. Let us seek to know Him while we have time.
