2/28 Philippians 1:28-30
Don’t be intimidated by your enemies. This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but that you are going to be saved, even by God himself. 29 For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for him. 30 We are in this fight together. You have seen me suffer for him in the past, and you know that I am still in the midst of this great struggle.
SAFE
You are safe in Christ. Though they may destroy your physical body they cannot touch your soul. Jesus is Lord and He is Lord of our life. You will never be alone in Christ because He will be with you. Trust Jesus and He will save you unto eternity. Persecution may come but it will not destroy you. Jesus is faithful and He will not abandon you.

2/27 Philippians 1:26-27
Then when I return to you, you will have even more reason to boast about what Christ Jesus has done for me. 27 But whatever happens to me, you must live in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ, as citizens of heaven. Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing side by side, fighting together for the Good News.
THE FIGHT
Life is a fight. It is no secret what God can do but we must claim His work in us, we must stand and fight the daily fight of a Christ like life. We cannot measure ourselves by the world’s standard. We must gaze long and confident into the face of Christ and listen Him as He instructs us. Jesus is Lord and He wants to be Lord of our life. It is our choice either Jesus will be Lord of our life or the world will be Lord of our life.
2/26 Philippians 1:22-25
Yet if I live, that means fruitful service for Christ. I really don’t know which is better. 23 I’m torn between two desires: Sometimes I want to live, and sometimes I long to go and be with Christ. That would be far better for me, 24 but it is better for you that I live. 25 I am convinced of this, so I will continue with you so that you will grow and experience the joy of your faith.
JOY
There is great joy being in the family of God. We do not know what we will be but we do know that we will be with Jesus today, tomorrow and forever. Claim His gift of life and live a life of freedom from sin. Jesus will lead you step by step through the rest of your existence.
2/25 Philippians 1:20-21
For I live in eager expectation and hope that I will never do anything that causes me shame, but that I will always be bold for Christ, as I have been in the past, and that my life will always honor Christ, whether I live or I die. 21 For to me, living is for Christ, and dying is even better.
LIVE
Live your life in confidence. Jesus will not abandon you. His love will not leave you. Christ would that you have a life of peace and the joy of His presence. Spend time with Jesus and He will spend time with you.
2/24 Philippians 1:18-19
But whether or not their motives are pure, the fact remains that the message about Christ is being preached, so I rejoice. And I will continue to rejoice. 19 For I know that as you pray for me and as the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me, this will all turn out for my deliverance.
MESSAGE
We want to get out the message of Christ – He paid the price we could not pay with His life. By faith we can partake of His life and receive salvation in Him. Jesus is Lord and His Good News that we are no longer slaves to sin but by faith a part of His family. Jesus is looking for you. Has He found you?
2/23 Philippians 1:17
Those others do not have pure motives as they preach about Christ. They preach with selfish ambition, not sincerely, intending to make my chains more painful to me.
PAINFUL
It is painful to know Christians that are living a life of selfish ambition. This is happening in the USA today and is hurtful to the kingdom of Christ. But do not worry. God will not be mocked. It is a dangerous and terrible plight to wind up in the hands of an angry God. Live you life carefully. Trust Jesus more each day. The Lord is here and He loves you.
2/22 Philippians 1:15-16
Some are preaching out of jealousy and rivalry. But others preach about Christ with pure motives. 16 They preach because they love me, for they know the Lord brought me here to defend the Good News.
LOVE
The Lord calls us to service. We serve not because it is fun but because we love Jesus. Set aside your ego and serve the Lord. Humility is a chosen trait and we humble ourselves because of our love for Jesus. Focus your heart on Christ. Love the Lord. He loves you.
2/21 Philippians 1:13-14
For everyone here, including all the soldiers in the palace guard, knows that I am in chains because of Christ. 14 And because of my imprisonment, many of the Christians here have gained confidence and become more bold in telling others about Christ.
TELL
Tell others about your faith. Christ will give you the courage you need to do this. The key is that you need to have what you tell others about. Spend time with Jesus. As you know Him better “faith walking” becomes a way of life.
2/20 Philippians 1:11-12
May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation — those good things that are produced in your life by Jesus Christ — for this will bring much glory and praise to God. 12 And I want you to know, dear brothers and sisters, that everything that has happened to me here has helped to spread the Good News.
GOOD NEWS
Whatever it takes whatever you need to do the Good News is worth sharing. The lost are dead in their trespasses-everyone sins and sin destroys. Only the Good News is a healing Word about what Jesus has done. Jesus is the Good News. There is salvation in no one else, only Jesus.
2/19 Philippians 1:10
For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until Christ returns.
PEOPLE
People really matter to the Lord. He died that we might be saved. He paid a price that we could not pay and bought our freedom. Believe in Jesus. Ask Him to come into your heart and forgive your sin. He is righteous and just and said if we ask the He will save us: whosoever will may come.
