JANUARY 16 – BELIEVE

1/16 John 3:13
For only I, the Son of Man, have come to earth and will return to heaven again. 14 And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so I, the Son of Man, must be lifted up on a pole, 15 so that everyone who believes in me will have eternal life.
BELIEVE
Do you believe in Jesus? He said He came especially for you. Are you living especially for Him? Spend time with the Lord. Let Him straighten out the kinks in your life. Seek His wisdom, mercy, grace and understanding that your life will be a praise for Him.

JANUARY 15 – WISDOM

1/15 John 3:9
“What do you mean?” Nicodemus asked. 10 Jesus replied, “You are a respected Jewish teacher, and yet you don’t understand these things? 11 I assure you, I am telling you what we know and have seen, and yet you won’t believe us. 12 But if you don’t even believe me when I tell you about things that happen here on earth, how can you possibly believe if I tell you what is going on in heaven?
WISDOM
Wisdom comes from God. If you are facing a difficult situation ask Jesus for the wisdom you need to move forward. Life a puzzle, ask Jesus to help you make sense out of it. Ask the Lord for the wisdom you need for your life.

JANUARY 14 – BIRTH

1/14 John 3:3
Jesus replied, “I assure you, unless you are born again, you can never see the Kingdom of God.” 4 “What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?” 5 Jesus replied, “The truth is, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. 6 Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives new life from heaven. 7 So don’t be surprised at my statement that you must be born again. 8 Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit.”
BIRTH
Jesus is talking about our spiritual birth. Nicodemus isn’t on the same wavelength. It’s important that we understand that the Lord has declared how we come into the kingdom. We must be born again. The Holy Spirit will testify to our spirit if we have been born again.

JANUARY 13 – WHAT

1/13 John 3:1
After dark one evening, a Jewish religious leader named Nicodemus, a Pharisee, 2 came to speak with Jesus. “Teacher,” he said, “we all know that God has sent you to teach us. Your miraculous signs are proof enough that God is with you.”
WHAT
What does Jesus want from us? He came to do the will of the Father. He came to pay the price for our sin. He is calling us to follow Him and be His representative here on earth. He is calling each one of us to depend on Him. Jesus is Lord.

JANUARY 12 – PRAISE

1/12 HEBREWS 12:25-29
25 See to it that you obey God, the one who is speaking to you. For if the people of Israel did not escape when they refused to listen to Moses, the earthly messenger, how terrible our danger if we reject the One who speaks to us from heaven! 26 When God spoke from Mount Sinai his voice shook the earth, but now he makes another promise: “Once again I will shake not only the earth but the heavens also.” 27 This means that the things on earth will be shaken, so that only eternal things will be left. 28 Since we are receiving a Kingdom that cannot be destroyed, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe. 29 For our God is a consuming fire.
PRAISE
Praise God for His goodness, His love, His everything, in all things praise the Lord. One day we will see all of these things that we are praising the Lord for now. We will know Him and know what He has done with fullness of knowledge. We will be so overwhelmed at this knowledge and presence of the Lord that every breath we take will be uttering His praise. Today we see Him and know Him by faith. When we are with Him we will know!

JANUARY 11 – JESUS

1/11 HEBREWS 12:18-24
18 You have not come to a physical mountain, to a place of flaming fire, darkness, gloom, and whirlwind, as the Israelites did at Mount Sinai when God gave them his laws. 19 For they heard an awesome trumpet blast and a voice with a message so terrible that they begged God to stop speaking. 20 They staggered back under God’s command: “If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned to death.” 21 Moses himself was so frightened at the sight that he said, “I am terrified and trembling.” 22 No, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to thousands of angels in joyful assembly. 23 You have come to the assembly of God’s firstborn children, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God himself, who is the judge of all people. And you have come to the spirits of the redeemed in heaven who have now been made perfect. 24 You have come to Jesus, the one who mediates the new covenant between God and people, and to the sprinkled blood, which graciously forgives instead of crying out for vengeance as the blood of Abel did.
JESUS
Jesus is God’s everything. He is everything we need. He is the only thing we need. When we see Jesus there will nothing else we think of but Him. Jesus is Lord.

JANUARY 10 – JESUS

1/10 Hebrews 12:14-17
14 Try to live in peace with everyone, and seek to live a clean and holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord. 15 Look after each other so that none of you will miss out on the special favor of God. Watch out that no bitter root of unbelief rises up among you, for whenever it springs up, many are corrupted by its poison. 16 Make sure that no one is immoral or godless like Esau. He traded his birthright as the oldest son for a single meal. 17 And afterward, when he wanted his father’s blessing, he was rejected. It was too late for repentance, even though he wept bitter tears.
JESUS
Jesus loves you. Let Him control you life. Seek to help those you know. Live a life that will be a testimony of Christ’s control. The Lord will protect you and give you opportunity to minister for Him.

JANUARY 9 – LIVE

1/9 Hebrews 12:8-13
8 If God doesn’t discipline you as he does all of his children, it means that you are illegitimate and are not really his children after all. 9 Since we respect our earthly fathers who disciplined us, should we not all the more cheerfully submit to the discipline of our heavenly Father and live forever ? 10 For our earthly fathers disciplined us for a few years, doing the best they knew how. But God’s discipline is always right and good for us because it means we will share in his holiness. 11 No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening — it is painful! But afterward there will be a quiet harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way. 12 So take a new grip with your tired hands and stand firm on your shaky legs. 13 Mark out a straight path for your feet. Then those who follow you, though they are weak and lame, will not stumble and fall but will become strong.
LIVE
Live a godly life. People are looking at you as an example. Be a good example for Christ. Do the next right thing. We never know whom we may be impacting so live your life with resolve. Let Jesus have moment by moment control of your life.

JANUARY 8 – LISTEN

1/8 Hebrews 12:5-7
5 And have you entirely forgotten the encouraging words God spoke to you, his children? He said, “My child, don’t ignore it when the Lord disciplines you, and don’t be discouraged when he corrects you. 6 For the Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes those he accepts as his children.” 7 As you endure this divine discipline, remember that God is treating you as his own children. Whoever heard of a child who was never disciplined?
LISTEN
Listen as the Lord teaches you. He will do what is required to help you stay on the godly path. When the Lord disciplines you listen carefully, learn the lesson thoroughly and follow Jesus. He will never leave you and will equip you to deal with your life today.

JANUARY 7 – SIN

1/7 Hebrews 12:1-4
1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily hinders our progress. And let us run with endurance the race that God has set before us. 2 We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from start to finish. He was willing to die a shameful death on the cross because of the joy he knew would be his afterward. Now he is seated in the place of highest honor beside God’s throne in heaven. 3 Think about all he endured when sinful people did such terrible things to him, so that you don’t become weary and give up. 4 After all, you have not yet given your lives in your struggle against sin.
SIN
Sin is our enemy. It is easy to get sidetracked and mired down in sin. Don’t do it. The Lord will lead you in the correct path. Stay alert and stay close to Jesus. The Lord will see you through. Trust the Lord and focus you life and your heart on Him.
