11/9 John 8:15-20
15 You judge me with all your human limitations, but I am not judging anyone. 16 And if I did, my judgment would be correct in every respect because I am not alone — I have with me the Father who sent me. 17 Your own law says that if two people agree about something, their witness is accepted as fact. 18 I am one witness, and my Father who sent me is the other.” 19 “Where is your father?” they asked. Jesus answered, “Since you don’t know who I am, you don’t know who my Father is. If you knew me, then you would know my Father, too.” 20 Jesus made these statements while he was teaching in the section of the Temple known as the Treasury. But he was not arrested, because his time had not yet come.
TRUTH
Jesus gives us the truth. We can trust His Word. Listen to Him as He speaks. Have faith in Him and He will guide you each day in the truth. Build a friendship with Jesus. Spend time with Him. He will change your life and guide you thru life in the way you should go.

11/8 John 8:12-14
12 Jesus said to the people, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t be stumbling through the darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.” 13 The Pharisees replied, “You are making false claims about yourself!” 14 Jesus told them, “These claims are valid even though I make them about myself. For I know where I came from and where I am going, but you don’t know this about me.
LIGHT
Once we were dead in our trespasses and sin. Now Jesus has come into our heart and given us life and light. His light shines the way for us to walk. We no longer walk in the confusion of the world but instead walk in the light of God. We know the way home to the Father and one day we will stand face to face and see Him in all of His glory. Jesus is the light of the world.
11/7 John 8:8-11
8 Then he stooped down again and wrote in the dust. 9 When the accusers heard this, they slipped away one by one, beginning with the oldest, until only Jesus was left in the middle of the crowd with the woman. 10 Then Jesus stood up again and said to her, “Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?” 11 “No, Lord,” she said. And Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.”
STOP
Stop sinning. Whatever you are doing that conflicts with the Spirit of God within you stop it. Stop now. Stop and do not offer an excuse. Let the Lord change you. Do the next right thing and keep your eyes focused on Jesus.
11/6 John 8:1-7
1 Jesus returned to the Mount of Olives, 2 but early the next morning he was back again at the Temple. A crowd soon gathered, and he sat down and taught them. 3 As he was speaking, the teachers of religious law and Pharisees brought a woman they had caught in the act of adultery. They put her in front of the crowd. 4 “Teacher,” they said to Jesus, “this woman was caught in the very act of adultery. 5 The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you say?” 6 They were trying to trap him into saying something they could use against him, but Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger. 7 They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, “All right, stone her. But let those who have never sinned throw the first stones!”
TRUE
Jesus is the true witness. The religious leaders are seeking to destroy Jesus. They want to discredit Him. Step by step they indict themselves. This trap is turned on them. We live our life before a watching world. We must live in such a way that our life will stand for itself without explanation. We live for Jesus. Let His light shine through us. The watching world will have no other choice but to say that we live for the Lord. Be a true witness for Jesus. Live like Christ.
11/5 Psalm 39:12-13
12 Hear my prayer, O LORD! Listen to my cries for help! Don’t ignore my tears. For I am your guest — a traveler passing through, as my ancestors were before me. 13 Spare me so I can smile again before I am gone and exist no more.
HEAR
We want to know that we have the Lord’s ear and that He hears us and that He knows what we are going through. As we strive to serve and as the depth of our sufferings pile up at some point the Lord will intervene and turn our mourning into joy.
11/4 Psalm 39:8-11
8 Rescue me from my rebellion, for even fools mock me when I rebel. 9 I am silent before you; I won’t say a word. For my punishment is from you. 10 Please, don’t punish me anymore! I am exhausted by the blows from your hand. 11 When you discipline people for their sins, their lives can be crushed like the life of a moth. Human existence is as frail as breath. Interlude
RESCUE
The Lord will rescue us from sin and death. He will bring us into the Family of God and we will be with Him from this moment and forever. Jesus knows our frailty and He knows what we can do. His plan for our life is tailored to our ability. The success that we experience is not based on our measure of accomplishment but instead upon our measure of faithfulness to the Lord Jesus Christ.
11/3 Psalm 39:6-7
6 We are merely moving shadows, and all our busy rushing ends in nothing. We heap up wealth for someone else to spend. 7 And so, Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you.
LIFE
Life is an illusion. Man often feels invulnerable and then dies. When we turn our life over to Christ we place our faith in Him. He holds onto us forever. He will not desert us nor will He let go of us. Jesus is Lord and He is our hope.
11/2 Psalm 39:4-5
4 “LORD, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered, and that my life is fleeing away. 5 My life is no longer than the width of my hand. An entire lifetime is just a moment to you; human existence is but a breath.” Interlude
REMEMBER
Whatever else we do we should be mindful that this life is just the beginning. One day, one day soon, we will stand face to face with our glorious Creator, Jesus, and He will wipe away every tear and comfort us with His presence in eternity. Jesus, Lord Jesus keep us safe on our journey to You.
11/1 Psalm 39:1-3
1 For Jeduthun, the choir director: A psalm of David. I said to myself, “I will watch what I do and not sin in what I say. I will curb my tongue when the ungodly are around me.” 2 But as I stood there in silence — not even speaking of good things — the turmoil within me grew to the bursting point. 3 My thoughts grew hot within me and began to burn, igniting a fire of words:
WAYS
Unguarded ways are generally unholy ways. Sins of the tongue are great sins. Little sparks of fire ignite great torrents of words-be careful what you say. His ways are not our ways therefore we should strive to guard our ways so that the Lord will have His way with us. The strongest believers have moments of unbelief and it is especially our unbelief that we must take care not to spread by the things we way. Do the next right thing. Watch what you say.
10/31 1 Corinthians 15:45-58
45 The Scriptures tell us, “The first man, Adam, became a living person.” But the last Adam — that is, Christ — is a life-giving Spirit. 46 What came first was the natural body, then the spiritual body comes later. 47 Adam, the first man, was made from the dust of the earth, while Christ, the second man, came from heaven. 48 Every human being has an earthly body just like Adam’s, but our heavenly bodies will be just like Christ’s. 49 Just as we are now like Adam, the man of the earth, so we will someday be like Christ, the man from heaven. 50 What I am saying, dear brothers and sisters, is that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. These perishable bodies of ours are not able to live forever. 51 But let me tell you a wonderful secret God has revealed to us. Not all of us will die, but we will all be transformed. 52 It will happen in a moment, in the blinking of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, the Christians who have died will be raised with transformed bodies. And then we who are living will be transformed so that we will never die. 53 For our perishable earthly bodies must be transformed into heavenly bodies that will never die. 54 When this happens — when our perishable earthly bodies have been transformed into heavenly bodies that will never die — then at last the Scriptures will come true: “Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” 56 For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. 57 How we thank God, who gives us victory over sin and death through Jesus Christ our Lord! 58 So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and steady, always enthusiastic about the Lord’s work, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.
REJOICE
This earth is not our home and this body is not our permanent body. One day we will shed this body and step into our heavenly body. Rejoice for those things that persecute us, those things that injure us are passing away, even death will be destroyed. The Lord is good and He loves you.
