JULY 9 – FRUITFUL

7/09 John 15:1-4
1 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more. 3 You have already been pruned for greater fruitfulness by the message I have given you. 4 Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful apart from me.
FRUITFUL
As we seek to serve the Lord too often we get on our own and decide to do things now. It is difficult at times to wait on the Lord. We like to do things our way. Our way is the very definition of failure. Without going the Lord’s way I will mess up everything. Speak Lord for your servant listens. And then I pray Lord that I will be quick to obey.

JULY 8 – GRACE

7/08 Revelation 22:18-21
And I solemnly declare to everyone who hears the prophetic words of this book: If anyone adds anything to what is written here, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book. 19 And if anyone removes any of the words of this prophetic book, God will remove that person’s share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book. 20 He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus! 21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you all.
GRACE
Today we need God’s grace. We will need it tomorrow and always. It is comforting to know that the Lord seeks to pour out His grace upon us even when we are going our own way. The Lord is good and worthy of all praise. Praise the Lord for His wondrous grace.

JULY 7 – COME

7/07 Revelation 22:14-17
Blessed are those who wash their robes so they can enter through the gates of the city and eat the fruit from the tree of life. 15 Outside the city are the dogs — the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idol worshipers, and all who love to live a lie. 16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this message for the churches. I am both the source of David and the heir to his throne. I am the bright morning star.” 17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Let each one who hears them say, “Come.” Let the thirsty ones come — anyone who wants to. Let them come and drink the water of life without charge.
COME
We know you are coming back Lord Jesus. Do not forget us. Help us. Guide us. Give us wisdom, mercy, grace and understanding. Come Lord Jesus.

JULY 6 – JESUS

7/06 Revelation 22:10-13
Then he instructed me, “Do not seal up the prophetic words you have written, for the time is near. 11 Let the one who is doing wrong continue to do wrong; the one who is vile, continue to be vile; the one who is good, continue to do good; and the one who is holy, continue in holiness.” 12 “See, I am coming soon, and my reward is with me, to repay all according to their deeds. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”
JESUS
Jesus is God’s everything. We start with Jesus, we grow with Jesus and we will end up in eternity with Jesus. He is everything we need to live a victorious Christian life. Keep the SON in your eyes and you will not stray from the narrow path. Jesus is Lord.

JULY 5 – WORSHIP

7/05 Revelation 22:8-9
I, John, am the one who saw and heard all these things. And when I saw and heard these things, I fell down to worship the angel who showed them to me. 9 But again he said, “No, don’t worship me. I am a servant of God, just like you and your brothers the prophets, as well as all who obey what is written in this scroll. Worship God!”
WORSHIP
Jesus is our focus. He is worthy of all honor and glory. Lord I want to worship you in everything I do. Father fill me with the power of the Holy Spirit and the presence of Jesus that I might no sin against YOU. Jesus is my Savior, He is my focus, I will trust Him and live an obedient life for Him.

JULY 4 – TODAY

7/04 Revelation 22:6-7
Then the angel said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true: ‘The Lord God, who tells his prophets what the future holds, has sent his angel to tell you what will happen soon.'” 7 “Look, I am coming soon! Blessed are those who obey the prophecy written in this scroll.”
TODAY
Is today the day the Jesus returns? Come Lord Jesus. Let me so live my life that I am waiting expectantly as I live my life. We have responsibilities and are often caught up in the chaos of living but even then we live with expectancy of His return. Jesus is coming soon.

JULY 3 – LIGHT

7/03 Revelation 22:4-5
And they will see his face, and his name will be written on their foreheads. 5 And there will be no night there — no need for lamps or sun — for the Lord God will shine on them. And they will reign forever and ever.
LIGHT
Jesus is the light. He gives us the wisdom, mercy, and grace that we need to live day by day with hope and joy. The Lord is with us now and we know that by faith and the Lord will be with us in eternity and we know that by faith. Jesus is Lord and we belong to Him.

JULY 2 – HOME

7/02 Revelation 22:1-3
1 And the angel showed me a pure river with the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb, 2 coursing down the center of the main street. On each side of the river grew a tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, with a fresh crop each month. The leaves were used for medicine to heal the nations. 3 No longer will anything be cursed. For the throne of God and of the Lamb will be there, and his servants will worship him.
HOME
Heaven is my home. I am just passing through. The Lord is in control and I am seeking to follow Him and help those around me. Heaven is going to be a great place and I will live there with Jesus for eternity.

JULY 1 – PRAISE

7/1 Psalm 148:1
1 Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens! Praise him from the skies! 2 Praise him, all his angels! Praise him, all the armies of heaven! 3 Praise him, sun and moon! Praise him, all you twinkling stars! 4 Praise him, skies above! Praise him, vapors high above the clouds! 5 Let every created thing give praise to the LORD, for he issued his command, and they came into being. 6 He established them forever and forever. His orders will never be revoked. 7 Praise the LORD from the earth, you creatures of the ocean depths, 8 fire and hail, snow and storm, wind and weather that obey him, 9 mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars, 10 wild animals and all livestock, reptiles and birds, 11 kings of the earth and all people, rulers and judges of the earth, 12 young men and maidens, old men and children. 13 Let them all praise the name of the LORD. For his name is very great; his glory towers over the earth and heaven! 14 He has made his people strong, honoring his godly ones — the people of Israel who are close to him. Praise the LORD!
PRAISE
It is wonderful to praise the Lord. He is worthy of all of our praise. When our hearts are focused on Jesus, praising God comes naturally. Praise the Lord.

JUNE 30 – SIN

6/30 Acts 7:46-60
“David found favor with God and asked for the privilege of building a permanent Temple for the God of Jacob. 47 But it was Solomon who actually built it. 48 However, the Most High doesn’t live in temples made by human hands. As the prophet says, 49 ‘Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Could you ever build me a temple as good as that?’ asks the Lord. ‘Could you build a dwelling place for me? 50 Didn’t I make everything in heaven and earth?’ 51 “You stubborn people! You are heathen at heart and deaf to the truth. Must you forever resist the Holy Spirit? But your ancestors did, and so do you! 52 Name one prophet your ancestors didn’t persecute! They even killed the ones who predicted the coming of the Righteous One — the Messiah whom you betrayed and murdered. 53 You deliberately disobeyed God’s law, though you received it from the hands of angels. ” 54 The Jewish leaders were infuriated by Stephen’s accusation, and they shook their fists in rage. 55 But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed steadily upward into heaven and saw the glory of God, and he saw Jesus standing in the place of honor at God’s right hand. 56 And he told them, “Look, I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing in the place of honor at God’s right hand!” 57 Then they put their hands over their ears, and drowning out his voice with their shouts, they rushed at him. 58 They dragged him out of the city and began to stone him. The official witnesses took off their coats and laid them at the feet of a young man named Saul. 59 And as they stoned him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” 60 And he fell to his knees, shouting, “Lord, don’t charge them with this sin!” And with that, he died.
SIN
We recoil at someone pointing out our sin. Pride demands an apology and we continue in our sin. The truth is sin separates us from the Lord. It blinds us to our actions and permits us to esteem ourselves above the Lord. We must be constantly before the Lord so that we can deal with our sin. Ask Jesus what your sin is and He will quickly tell you. Ask Him to forgive you and the Word tells us that He will forgive you and equip you to stand in the evil hour.
