9/20 Colossians 3:2-3
Let heaven fill your thoughts. Do not think only about things down here on earth. For you died when Christ died, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.
THINK
Think about Godly things. Read the Word and get to know the Lord. Then spend your time thinking about Him. He is worthy of all of our praise, honor and glory. Jesus is Lord and the Lord of all things seeks friendship and fellowship with each one of us. Jesus loves you.

9/19 Colossians 3:1
Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits at God’s right hand in the place of honor and power.
LIFE
We have new life in Jesus Christ. He has birthed us into the family of God. We worship the creator and He has made us part of all that He is doing in the world. Our life is a life of value and worth because Jesus has given us the value and worth that we need to succeed. Be assured that when you talk with Jesus you are talking with the Father and the Holy Spirit. God is one and He loves us.
9/18 Psalm 12:6-8
The LORD’s promises are pure, like silver refined in a furnace, purified seven times over. Therefore, LORD, we know you will protect the oppressed, preserving them forever from this lying generation, even though the wicked strut about, and evil is praised throughout the land.
PROTECTION
You are under the protection of the creator. Nothing can compromise your eternal relationship with Jesus. He is alive. He lives in you. Christ is able and will be with you through everything you go through. This world is tough but the Lord is much stronger than any created thing. You are safe in the hands of Jesus.
9/17 Psalm 12:5
The LORD replies, “I have seen violence done to the helpless, and I have heard the groans of the poor. Now I will rise up to rescue them, as they have longed for me to do.”
RESCUE
Are you hurting? Is life going the wrong way? Ask the Lord to rescue you. He will listen to you and will not turn you away. He will make a way for you that only He could. Cry out to the Lord and He will rescue you.
9/16 Psalm 12:1-4
For the choir director: A psalm of David, to be accompanied by an eight-stringed instrument. Help, O LORD, for the godly are fast disappearing! The faithful have vanished from the earth! Neighbors lie to each other, speaking with flattering lips and insincere hearts. May the LORD bring their flattery to an end and silence their proud tongues. They say, “We will lie to our hearts’ content. Our lips are our own — who can stop us?”
ONE DAY
Our life is brief and yet we live as though we were eternal. There is an appointed day when all that we do will be reviewed. Jesus stands at the bar of justice and proclaims Lord God this is a member of our family. Jesus gives us His righteousness. He provides membership in the household of God. Understand that our life span is but a second in eternal terms and justice is a fact.
9/15 Psalm 11:7
For the LORD is righteous, and he loves justice. Those who do what is right will see his face.
CHOICE
The word that we must remember and understand about our life is CHOICE. We choose whom we will follow. We choose what we will do. Following Jesus is always a choice. Choose Jesus. Today follow Him. It is the right choice. It is the right thing to do.
9/14 Psalm 11:5-6
The LORD examines both the righteous and the wicked. He hates everyone who loves violence. He rains down blazing coals on the wicked, punishing them with burning sulfur and scorching winds.
ONE DAY
One day every knee will bow every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. There will be a time a day of accountability. Remember that the Lord’s memory is perfect. Live your life with awareness that this life is just the beginning. When we go to be with the Lord it will be perfect.
9/13 Psalm 11:3-4
The foundations of law and order have collapsed. What can the righteous do?” But the LORD is in his holy Temple; the LORD still rules from heaven. He watches everything closely, examining everyone on earth.
LIFE
Your life is an examined life. The Lord is aware of everything that is going on and everything that you are doing. Our life never surprises God. Surrender your will to Him. Let Jesus guide you. Do what He says. Know that the Lord is God and He will not abandon you no matter what happens.
9/12 Psalm 11:2
The wicked are stringing their bows and setting their arrows in the bowstrings. They shoot from the shadows at those who do right.
EVIL
Evil is all around us. It is active and actively seeking to do us bad. Listen, if you trust the Lord and have confidence in His control of your life, you will turn to Him in the moment of trial and not let evil succeed in stampeding you. Trust the Lord and walk in His path.
9/11 Psalm 11:1
For the choir director: A psalm of David. I trust in the LORD for protection. So why do you say to me, “Fly to the mountains for safety!
REALITY
Trust is an action. It isn’t a thought or even a word. Trust is composed of the things we do. If I trust the Lord then I will act upon His Word. Obedience, humility, peace, joy and more all become part of our daily life when we trust the Lord.
