SEPT. 1 – JAMES 4:6

And he gives grace generously. As the Scriptures say, “God opposes the proud  but gives grace to the humble.

GRACE
Check yourself.  Make sure you are walking in humility.  The Lord Jesus gives grace (what we need and cannot earn) to the humble.  Walk in humility and Jesus will lift you up as you face the challenges of life. 

AUG. 31 – 1 PETER 5:7

8/31                 1 Peter 5:7 
“Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.”

FIRST

God is first. 
There is no second.
He loved you before the foundation of the world
God is love.
You are His beloved.
When you understand how much He loves you, and does for you,
You will love Him.
Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
God loves you.  

AUG. 30 – 1 COR. 10:13

8/30                 1 Corinthians 10:13 
“The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.”

YOU CAN

The Lord says “you can” survive, change, and grow.  Trust in the Lord and He will do it.  

AUG. 29 – PHILIPPIANS 4:13

8/29                 Philippians 4:13 
“For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.”

LIFE

LIFE is not a puzzle.  It is difficult and chaotic but the Jesus keeps us balanced and able to move forward however difficult life gets.  Jesus is our salvation.  He is the way, the truth and the life.  

AUG. 28 – ROMANS 8:31

8/28                 Romans 8:31 
“What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?”

YOU

God is for you.  You count.  Your life has value.  You are important to God-He has a plan for your life.  He has forgiven you and seeks to help you live your best life.  

AUG. 27 – MATTHEW 28:20

8/27                 Matthew 28:20 
“Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

NOT ALONE

Whatever else modern society teaches us and no matter how alone we may feel, Jesus tells us that when we come to the Father, we will never be alone.  Jesus connects us with the Father.  

AUG. 26 – ISAIAH 41:10

8/26                 Isaiah 41:10 
“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”

POWER

There is power for us in Jesus Christ.  He connects us with the Father and Holy Spirit.  God’s hand is for us.  He will see us through.  

AUG. 25 – PSALM 147:3

8/25                 Psalm 147:3 
“He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.”

WHERE? 
Where are you?   Hurting, wounded and alone?  Jesus will heal your hurt, bandage your wounds and renew your heart and soul.  Jesus is Lord and He is with you.  

AUG. 24 – PSALM 27:10

8/24                 Psalm 27:10 
“Even if my father and mother abandon me, the Lord will hold me close.”

LIFE

Life has a way of hurting us.  Sometimes even our own family abandons us.  The Lord will never abandon you.  He will always hold you close.  Jesus is always with you.  

AUG. 23 -JOSHUA 1:9

8/23                 Joshua 1:9
“This is my command — be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

ALWAYS

The Lord Jesus is always with you.  You are never alone.  He will not abandon you.  You belong to Him.  Turn to Jesus.  Let Him connect with you and take control of your life.
