JANUARY 25 – 1 TIMOTHY 2:5

01/25          1 Timothy 2:5

5 For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus

MEDIATOR

He is the Son of God.  He is the Savior.  He paid the price for our sin. 
While we were still dead in our trespasses He died for us.  
He is seated at the right hand of God.  He knows our weakness.  
Jesus provides forgiveness and eternal security for those who believe in Him. 

JANUARY 24 – PHILIPPIANS 2:9-11

01/24          Philippians 2:9-11

9 Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 

LORD OF ALL

Jesus is Lord of all.  The greatest servant.  The greatest sacrifice.  
He died that we might have life.  He provides us His righteousness.  
We are brought into the family of God.  
He is the Creator, Sustainer, and He loves us.  
He is Lord of all. 

JANUARY 23 – REVELATION 5:5

01/23          Revelation 5:5

5 But one of the twenty-four elders said to me, “Stop weeping! Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the heir to David’s throne, has won the victory. He is worthy to open the scroll and its seven seals.”

LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH

Ruler.  Leader.  House of power and strength.  
Jesus is the Lion.  He is the One come from God to lead His people home. 
We belong to Him, but His leadership is the leadership of a servant.  
His love for us is inexplicable.  He is love and He cares for you and me.  
One day He is coming back in judgment.  We will stand before Him.  
My prayer for you is that you will stand before Him as your Lord and Savior
.  

JANUARY 22 – JOHN 8:12

01/22          John 8:12

12 Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.” 

LIGHT OF THE WORLD

Jesus is the light.  He shines into the darkness.
He shows us where to walk.  He leads us.
He is God’s everything.  Jesus is Lord
.  

JANUARY 21 – JOHN 1:29

01/21          John 1:29

29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! 

LAMB OF GOD

Jesus, the sacrifice.

Son of God.  Servant of God.

Fully man-fully God.  Came to show us what God is like

Loving and caring.  He knows our weaknesses and yet He did not sin.

JANUARY 20 – REVELATION 17:14

01/20          Revelation 17:14

14 Together they will go to war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will defeat them because he is Lord of all lords and King of all kings. And his called and chosen and faithful ones will be with him.” 

KING OF KINGS

Jesus is God’s everything.  He is above all things, over all things. 

He is Lord and Lord of all.  Jesus Christ is God.  

He came to save us from our sin.  He gives us His righteousness.  

Christ the Lord is closer than a brother as we live our life.  

He will never leave us.  He brings us into God’s family and we belong.  Jesus is God’s everything and He is King of all kings.  

JANUARY 19 – ACTS 10:42

01/19          Acts 10:42

42 And he ordered us to preach everywhere and to testify that Jesus is the one appointed by God to be the judge of all—the living and the dead. 

JUDGE

Jesus Christ is coming back.  He first came as Savior of the World.  

When He returns He will be the judge of the world.  

Do not be fooled.  Jesus Christ is coming back.  

JANUARY 18 – 2 COR. 9:15

01/18          2 Corinthians 9:15

15 Thank God for this gift too wonderful for words!

INDESCRIBABLE GIFT

New Life in Jesus Christ.  No longer at the mercy of the world.  

We belong to the Lord God Almighty.  He is our Father.  

We cry out Abba as we live our daily life.  

The Lord does not remove our challenges, He goes through them with us.  

The Lord has come to Earth and He is sojourning with us.  

One day soon we will stand before Him and we will see Him as He is.  

Eternal life in Jesus Christ is a wonderful gift, too wonderful for words.  

JANUARY 17 – ISAIAH 7:14

01/17          Isaiah 7:14

14 All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us’)

IMMANUEL

God’s son Jesus.  Born into our chaos and fear.

This world is a place of heartache, pain and hunger.  

The poor are in great need.  We don’t realize we are all poor. 

Jesus knows how we live.  He’s been there.  

Jesus died for our sin, paying a price we could not pay. 

He knows what we need.  He brings us into God’s family.  He is the good news.  God has come to His creation.  

JANUARY 16 – JOHN 8:58

01/16             John 8:58

58 Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, before Abraham was even born, I AM! ” 

I AM
Jesus.  Creator.  Wisdom.  Strength.
Our life.  God’s good news.  
Come to us, healing us and guiding us in the way we should go.  
Jesus is here with us.  He has always been there with the Father and Holy Spirit. 
We are new in Jesus Christ.
