01/15             Acts 4:29-30

29 And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word. 30 Stretch out your hand with healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” 

HOLY SERVANT
Jesus was His name.  Son of God.  Come to us.  
Healing in His name.  We will never be the same. 
New heart.  New life.  Our walk filled with strife yet protect by Him.  
We are not alone.  His presence our new home.  
Together we will live, moment by moment His wisdom, our devotion.  
Praise the Lord God Almighty.  His Holy Servant Jesus has come to us.
He brings healing and victory.  

01/14          Ephesians 1:22

22 God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church. 

HEAD OF THE CHURCH

Jesus is alive.  He is seated at the right hand of the Father.  
He seeks the best for us giving us what we need and do not earn.  
We follow Him.  He is the perfect leader.  
Jesus is in control.  He never lets us go.
He will take us safely home to heaven.  

01/13          Hebrews 4:14

14 So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. 

GREAT HIGH PRIEST

Jesus is the our High Priest.  
He intercedes with the Father for us. 
He gives us His righteousness.  
He is God’s everything and we are faithfully seeking to become like Him.  
Today I want more of Jesus.  I want to know Him and know Him more.  
Spend time with our Savior.  Let Him lead, guide and direct you.  
Jesus is Lord. 

01/12          John 10:11

11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep. 

GOOD SHEPHERD

Jesus, the Good Shepherd.  
He came specifically to pay the price of our sin.  
It was a price we could not pay.  
Biblically speaking the heart of all mankind, everyone, was evil beyond belief.  
Jesus the Good Shepherd gives us a new heart.  A cleansed heart.  
He gives us His righteousness.  
Everything we need to become and stay a member of God’s household is in Jesus.  
Jesus is God’s everything.  

01/11 Revelation 19:11
11 Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war. 

FAITHFUL AND TRUE
Jesus is the Holy and fair judge.
He is at war with evil. He won before the battle began.
He is God’s servant. Evil cannot stand before Him.
Jesus is faithful and true. He will never forsake you.
Live a life committed to Him. He is Lord.

01/10          1 Thessalonians 1:10

10 And they speak of how you are looking forward to the coming of God’s Son from heaven—Jesus, whom God raised from the dead. He is the one who has rescued us from the terrors of the coming judgment.

DELIVERER
We are creatures of limited understanding and wisdom.
We do not understand how horrible separation from God will be.
Hell is a real place.  It is a place we need to avoid at any cost.  
The cost is belief in Jesus.  
Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.  

01/09          Psalm 118:22
22The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.

CHIEF CORNERSTONE

Jesus is the Creator.  God came to Earth. 
He is the critical element in God’s salvation plan.
We live because He lived a perfect life and died on the cross.
The Father raised Him from the dead. 
He is alive today seated at the right hand of the Father.  
Jesus is interceding for you and me this very moment.  

01/08          Matthew 9:15

15Jesus replied, “Do wedding guests mourn while celebrating with the groom? Of course not. But someday the groom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast. 

BRIDEGROOM

Jesus solves our troubled ways.
He leads us in His strength and power.
We cannot see Him but He is here.  He is in me and you.
He knows what we need and is constantly meeting our needs.  
Spend time with Jesus.  He is the life, the light and the way.  
Nothing can takes us away from Him.  
Jesus is Lord. 

01/07          Matthew 3:17

17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy.”

BELOVED SON OF GOD

Son of God.  Fully man.  Fully God.  
Came to Earth to tell us how to be part of God’s family.  
Life like God’s.  The Good News.  God cares for you.  
It brings the Father great joy to spend time with each one of us.  
We belong to Him.  He is our Good Shepherd guiding us in life.
Jesus is in us to guide us home to Abba.  
Jesus is God’s everything.  

01/06          John 6:35

35 Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. 

BREAD OF LIFE

We have so much knowledge and very little wisdom. 
Jesus gives us wisdom for living.  
First we turn to Jesus in faith for forgiveness of our sin against God.
Jesus is faithful and righteous to forgive us and bring us into God’s family.  
Then we live under His control.  Wisdom upon wisdom to live.  
We will never be blind or starve again.  Jesus is our righteousness.  He is Lord.
