10/11               Psalm 34:18

18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. 

YOU

You count with the Lord.  He is with you, knowing all you do and what you need.  When we spend time with Him we are able to listen to Him and follow what He says for us to do.  Obedience brings joy and peace.  We develop a confidence about life that helps us to deal with the evil that is constantly barraging us with trials and temptations.  Keep short accounts with the Lord and confess your sins immediately and change.  Our Lord is always concerned about what we are struggling with and the chaos in our life. Ask Jesus and He will see you through. 

10/10               Hebrews 7:25

25 Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf. 

SALVATION

Salvation is desperately needed for all of mankind.  So many will fail to ask Jesus to forgive them of their sin and come into their life.  That is Biblical Salvation.  Plain and simple.  We recognize that we can do nothing apart from Jesus.  He saves us.  He saves us unto eternity.  Nothing can separate us from His salvation.  Once we are saved we belong to Him. 

10/09               Hebrews 4:15

15 This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. 

FAILURE

Failure is a part of every day of your life.  Do not wallow in your failure.  Get up, wash your face, get before the Father.  Confess your sin.  He knows it but He wants you to know it.  Jesus loves you. 

10/08               2 Corinthians 4:17

17 For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!

STAY

Stay the course. Follow the Lord no matter what. Be close to him.  Do what He says.  Do the next right thing.  Faith is an action not a thought.  Be usable. 

10/07               Romans 8:28-29

28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. 29For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 

LOVE

Things don’t work out for our good unless our precious Father makes them work out for God.  He is providentially weaving the chaos, evil attacks and all the other things that happen in life into a beautiful life for us. Joy is something we have inside for we know that life is hard and so often evil and harsh.  Trust in the Lord and He will make your life a grand journey that at the end will be a beautiful picture of the providence of God.  He is at work in your life.   

10/06               Psalm 34:17

17 The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles.

CRY

When you need help cry out to the Lord.  He will hear you and He will help you.  Believe in Him and His promises and the Lord will constantly guide and protect you. Note, believing in the Lord means that you are listening to Him, obeying Him and walking with Him.  When you are in trouble cry out to the Lord and He will rescue you even when you are walking in your own strength.  Cry out to the Lord-He will not forget you. 

10/05               Psalm 34:15

15 The eyes of the LORD watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help.

LISTENING

The Lord is listening to you.  Are you talking with Him?  Talk with the Lord.  Tell Him all of your needs and what you are dealing with.  Do the next right thing and the Lord will be in lock-step with you. Trust in the Lord and do as He says and He will take care of you. 

10/04               Isaiah 43:2

2 When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.

LIFE

Life is hard.  But, our Lord is bigger than life.  HE is not constrained by time as we are and nothing ever surprises Him.  HE is with us every second.  He knows what is going on in our life.  HE will not fail us.  HE is interceding for us this very moment.  Thank you Lord God who is perfect in all of His ways. 

10/03               Hebrews 13:5

5 Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” 

FAIL

The Lord does not fail us and he will never fail us.  He is a devoted, loving and caring Father.  He is perfect in all of His ways.  He is the Lord, worthy of all of our praise and devotion and He will never fail us. 

10/02               Lamentations 3:22-23

22 The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. 23 Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. 

GREAT

We have a great God who never forgets us.  He provides for us new mercies each day.  Every day has mercy enough for that day.  Our Lord is a great and gracious Lord who prepares for us new mercies each day. His mercies fit each day perfectly. New mercies this day.
