5/20 Matthew 7:12
“Do for others what you would like them to do for you. This is a summary of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.
DO
The key is “DO.” We are called to treat others as we would like to be treated. Not think about others but do for others. As you establish this as a habit in your life you will discover the value of helping others. It will reach deep into your soul. You will experience the presence of the Lord in a more significant way as you do His work in your home, church and community. Love one another.

5/19 Matthew 7:9-11
You parents — if your children ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead? 10 Or if they ask for a fish, do you give them a snake? Of course not! 11 If you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.
ASK
Ask the Lord for the things you and those you love need. Don’t be bashful. Know that the Lord loves you and wants you to talk with Him. Talking with the Lord in prayer will help you to sort out what is important and what isn’t. God is good.
5/18 Matthew 7:7-8
“Keep on asking, and you will be given what you ask for. Keep on looking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened. 8 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And the door is opened to everyone who knocks.
CONSTANT
We are called to maintain constant contact with Jesus, moment to moment is the best. As we talk with Him and focus on what He is calling us to do we will develop a focused attitude about the needs of those around us. Talk to Jesus about the needs of the people we know. Do it regularly, constantly and in depth and you will be amazed at the impact you will have on the lives of the people around you. Pray for others.
5/17 Matthew 7:6
“Don’t give what is holy to unholy people. Don’t give pearls to swine! They will trample the pearls, then turn and attack you.
WISDOM
We need wisdom for Godly living. Jesus will teach us what to say and will guide us as we live our life. As we spend time with the Lord we will get to know Him better and be better equipped to do His will.
5/16 Matthew 7:3-5
And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? 4 How can you think of saying, ‘Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First get rid of the log from your own eye; then perhaps you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye.
TRUTH
The truth is that we are sinners. Without Jesus we are as filthy rags before the Lord. Have faith in Christ, confess your sin and stop judging others. We are called to love one another. Remember that and do as the Lord Jesus calls us to obedience.
5/15 Matthew 7: 1-2
“Stop judging others, and you will not be judged. 2 For others will treat you as you treat them. Whatever measure you use in judging others, it will be used to measure how you are judged.
NO
No judging is a direct order. Why, because we are so limited in our intellect that we cannot know what is going on in another person’s life. Do not judge is a clear and concise call for obedience. Love one another is the call.
5/14 Matthew 6:34
“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.
TODAY
Live today. Your life counts. The Lord will bring the right things into your life. Let Jesus have control of your life. He loves you.
05/13 Matthew 6:31-33
“So don’t worry about having enough food or drink or clothing. 32 Why be like the pagans who are so deeply concerned about these things? Your heavenly Father already knows all your needs, 33 and he will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern.
CARE
Jesus cares for you. He will lead you in the right way. His love will equip you, supply you and enable you to live your life. Do not worry for Jesus is Lord and He loves you.
05/12 Matthew 6:27-30
Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? Of course not. 28 “And why worry about your clothes? Look at the lilies and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, 29 yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. 30 And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow, won’t he more surely care for you? You have so little faith!
TURN
Turn to Jesus. When you do let Him change your life, forgiving your sin and guiding you in the way you should go. Ask Jesus what you do next. He knows His plan for you and will give you strength and wisdom for the day.
05/11 Matthew 6:25-26
“So I tell you, don’t worry about everyday life — whether you have enough food, drink, and clothes. Doesn’t life consist of more than food and clothing? 26 Look at the birds. They don’t need to plant or harvest or put food in barns because your heavenly Father feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than they are.
WORRY
Worry breaks us down and suffocates our relationship with Jesus. Worry evidences lack of trust for the Lord. Worry blinds us to the needs of those around us. Don’t worry be happy. Jesus loves you and is seeking your best good. Don’t worry be happy.
