2/18 Philippians 1:9
I pray that your love for each other will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in your knowledge and understanding.
LOVE
Knowledge and understanding are undergirded with love. Human knowledge never connects with the Lord. Spiritual knowledge is germinated in the soil of love. Jesus loves you.

2/17 Philippians 1:8
God knows how much I love you and long for you with the tender compassion of Christ Jesus.
KNOWS
GOD knows everything. We cannot escape His watch. We would not want to be away from the Lord. This moment speak to the Lord and tell Him how much you love Him. He loves us far beyond what we can express or even feel. God is love and He loves you.
2/16 Philippians 1:7
It is right that I should feel as I do about all of you, for you have a very special place in my heart. We have shared together the blessings of God, both when I was in prison and when I was out, defending the truth and telling others the Good News.
SHARED
Today think about whom you have shared the blessings of God with. Remember past interactions with the Holy ONE. He is still totally involved with your life. The Lord never moves away. Look around you. Where did you leave the Lord? Refocus your life and you will see Him standing next to you. Defend the faith by the way you live. Jesus loves you.
2/15 Philippians 1:6
And I am sure that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on that day when Christ Jesus comes back again.
CONTINUE
The Lord will continue to work in you. Your circumstances won’t change it. You disappointment won’t change it. Failure cannot alter God’s work in you. Where ever you are what ever you are doing hear this “the Lord will continue His work in you until Jesus comes back.” Jesus is proud of you!
2/14 Philippians 1:4-5
I always pray for you, and I make my requests with a heart full of joy 5 because you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now.
JOY
Paul faced tremendous hardship and yet he was filled with joy. He had learned the art of walking by faith and not by sight. We are here to glorify the Lord. When we do that we are walking with Him. When others share the Good News with us as we minister to the lost we develop and bond that will never break. Pray for one another. Love them as Jesus loves you. Do not be down trodden. Let the Lord fill you with joy as you serve Him by praying for others.
2/13 Philippians 1:3
Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God.
PEOPLE
People count with Jesus. He died for us. He loves us. He gives us eternal life. He brings us into the family of God. He will never let go of us. Pray for one another. Jesus does. Thank you Lord for the people you bring into my life. Help me to pray faithfully for them.
2/12 Philippians 1:1-2
This letter is from Paul and Timothy, slaves of Christ Jesus. It is written to all of God’s people in Philippi, who believe in Christ Jesus, and to the elders and deacons. 2 May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.
NEEDS
Jesus will meet our needs. We need grace and peace. His grace is poured out on us giving us what we need and cannot earn. His peace indwells us so that we might live our life with constant interaction with Him. Jesus is Lord.
2/11 Psalm 88:8-18
You have caused my friends to loathe me; you have sent them all away. I am in a trap with no way of escape. 9 My eyes are blinded by my tears. Each day I beg for your help, O LORD; I lift my pleading hands to you for mercy. 10 Of what use to the dead are your miracles? Do the dead get up and praise you? Interlude 11 Can those in the grave declare your unfailing love? In the place of destruction, can they proclaim your faithfulness? 12 Can the darkness speak of your miracles? Can anyone in the land of forgetfulness talk about your righteousness? 13 O LORD, I cry out to you. I will keep on pleading day by day. 14 O LORD, why do you reject me? Why do you turn your face away from me? 15 I have been sickly and close to death since my youth. I stand helpless and desperate before your terrors. 16 Your fierce anger has overwhelmed me. Your terrors have cut me off. 17 They swirl around me like floodwaters all day long. They have encircled me completely. 18 You have taken away my companions and loved ones; only darkness remains.
HARD
It is hard to reconcile the way we see life with the Lord’s vies. I don’t understand how He works. Our plight in life seems to be chaotic but the Lord is good and He sees all things. My faith Lord will not be based on my situation. Help me Lord to live my life based on YOU. Grow my faith. Teach me to follow YOU by faith and not by sight.
2/10 Psalm 88:3-7
For my life is full of troubles, and death draws near. 4 I have been dismissed as one who is dead, like a strong man with no strength left. 5 They have abandoned me to death, and I am as good as dead. I am forgotten, cut off from your care. 6 You have thrust me down to the lowest pit, into the darkest depths. 7 Your anger lies heavy on me; wave after wave engulfs me.
SIGHT
It is hard to see the future. We experience difficulty and immediately think that everyday will be like today. Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and your future will be sure. You will never be outside of His scrutiny and care.
2/9 Psalm 88:1-2
For the choir director: A psalm of the descendants of Korah, to be sung to the tune “The Suffering of Affliction.” A psalm of Heman the Ezrahite. A song. O LORD, God of my salvation, I have cried out to you day and night. 2 Now hear my prayer; listen to my cry.
PLEAD
Sometimes life hurts so much that we literally plead our case with the Lord. Do not fear expressing your heart before the Lord. Cry out to Him. He will listen. Jesus loves you.
