OCTOBER 21 – GATES

10/21 Revelation 21:11-14
11 It was filled with the glory of God and sparkled like a precious gem, crystal clear like jasper. 12 Its walls were broad and high, with twelve gates guarded by twelve angels. And the names of the twelve tribes of Israel were written on the gates. 13 There were three gates on each side — east, north, south, and west. 14 The wall of the city had twelve foundation stones, and on them were written the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
GATES
How fabulous are the gates of the New Jerusalem? Can you imagine? Everything surrounding the Father will be spectacular. When we are with Jesus and the Father we will experience beyond what we can even think today. Beautiful gates that will reflect the beauty of the Lord and just like you as you live your life filled with Jesus you will reflect the beauty of the Lord.

OCTOBER 20 – ONE DAY

10/20 Revelation 21:9-10
9 Then one of the seven angels who held the seven bowls containing the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come with me! I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” 10 So he took me in spirit to a great, high mountain, and he showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.
ONE-DAY
One day every Word of the Lord God will come true. One day seems like it is a long time from us and yet a thousand days are as one day to the Lord. In eternity time is abolished. All the things that we know to be true will indeed come true. The Lord will appear and we will live with Him forever. One day we will see Jesus face to face.

OCTOBER 19 – CHOICE

10/19 Revelation 21:8
8 But cowards who turn away from me, and unbelievers, and the corrupt, and murderers, and the immoral, and those who practice witchcraft, and idol worshipers, and all liars — their doom is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. This is the second death.”
CHOICE
This sounds harsh and hard but it is simple and true. We can choose to follow the Lord or we can choose to go our own way. The easy way, our way ends in destruction. Listen to Jesus and give your heart to Him and live. Your choice.

OCTOBER 18 – HIS

10/18 Revelation 21:5-7
5 And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making all things new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” 6 And he also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega — the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give the springs of the water of life without charge! 7 All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children.
HIS
We will belong to God and be in His presence. We will know exactly everything we need to experience the very best of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. No more wondering. No more fear. No more today or tomorrow, time will be destroyed; all will be right now in eternity.

OCTOBER 17 – GONE

10/17 Revelation 21:4
4 He will remove all of their sorrows, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. For the old world and its evils are gone forever.”
GONE
Everything we have suffered in this world will be destroyed so that it can hurt us no more. We are children of God and will experience life like God’s life for eternity. I am looking forward to that day when we will see Him face to face.

OCTOBER 16 – YES

10/16 Revelation 21:2-3
2 And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a beautiful bride prepared for her husband. 3 I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, the home of God is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them.
YES
This world is not our home. We have a home made without hands for us. That home will be in the presence of God. What a homecoming. What a Savior. Our God is a good and wonderful loving God who desires to be with us. Jesus is Lord.

OCTOBER 15 – NEW

10/15 Revelation 21:1
1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone.
NEW
All things will be new. Our home is with the Father in eternity and when we get there everything will be perfect. We will see Him face to face. We will know Him by sight and we will fully experience our salvation. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

OCTOBER 14 – KNEW

10/14 Hebrews 2:16-18
16 We all know that Jesus came to help the descendants of Abraham, not to help the angels. 17 Therefore, it was necessary for Jesus to be in every respect like us, his brothers and sisters, so that he could be our merciful and faithful High Priest before God. He then could offer a sacrifice that would take away the sins of the people. 18 Since he himself has gone through suffering and temptation, he is able to help us when we are being tempted.
KNEW
Jesus knew our pain, experiencing all the things we experience and yet without sin. He was totally committed to the Father. He has suffered as you suffer. He has been tempted as you are tempted. Jesus is a worthy and glorious Savior and He is just what we need.

OCTOBER 13 – NEW

10/13 Hebrews 2:14-15
14 Because God’s children are human beings — made of flesh and blood — Jesus also became flesh and blood by being born in human form. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the Devil, who had the power of death. 15 Only in this way could he deliver those who have lived all their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.
NEW
Jesus makes all things new. Lost your way go to Jesus. You once followed Jesus and by some act of omission or comission you drifted away. Come back to Christ. Where ever you are what ever you have done stop and turn to Jesus. He will not turn you away and He will fix what ails you.

OCTOBER 12 – SAVIOR

10/12 Hebrews 2:10-13
11 So now Jesus and the ones he makes holy have the same Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters. 12 For he said to God, “I will declare the wonder of your name to my brothers and sisters. I will praise you among all your people.” 13 He also said, “I will put my trust in him.” And in the same context he said, “Here I am — together with the children God has given me.”
SAVIOR
Jesus is our Savior. He is the One we can trust in and He will deliver us safely into the Father’s hands. We can have faith that Jesus will take care of us, will not neglect us and will never let us go. Jesus is our Lord and He will save us unto eternity.
