OCTOBER 25 – GRACE

10/25 Colossians 4:12
Epaphras, from your city, a servant of Christ Jesus, sends you his greetings. He always prays earnestly for you, asking God to make you strong and perfect, fully confident of the whole will of God. I can assure you that he has agonized for you and also for the Christians in Laodicea and Hierapolis. Dear Doctor Luke sends his greetings, and so does Demas. Please give my greetings to our Christian brothers and sisters at Laodicea, and to Nympha and those who meet in her house. After you have read this letter, pass it on to the church at Laodicea so they can read it, too. And you should read the letter I wrote to them. And say to Archippus, “Be sure to carry out the work the Lord gave you.” Here is my greeting in my own handwriting — PAUL. Remember my chains. May the grace of God be with you.
GRACE
Grace is God giving us what we need and cannot earn. What are your needs today? Peace, ask the Lord. Strength, ask the Lord. Comfort, ask the Lord. Whatever you need today ask the Lord.

OCTOBER 24 – PEOPLE

10/24 Colossians 4:7-11
Tychicus, a much-loved brother, will tell you how I am getting along. He is a faithful helper who serves the Lord with me. I have sent him on this special trip to let you know how we are doing and to encourage you. I am also sending Onesimus, a faithful and much loved brother, one of your own people. He and Tychicus will give you all the latest news. Aristarchus, who is in prison with me, sends you his greetings, and so does Mark, Barnabas’s cousin. And as you were instructed before, make Mark welcome if he comes your way. Jesus (the one we call Justus) also sends his greetings. These are the only Jewish Christians among my co-workers; they are working with me here for the Kingdom of God. And what a comfort they have been!
PEOPLE
People count with the Lord. Paul recognizes the people he is with and commends them to the Lord and us. Pray for one another. You are important to the Lord and so are those you know.

OCTOBER 23 – FORGIVING

10/23 Colossians 4:6
Let your conversation be gracious and effective so that you will have the right answer for everyone.
FORGIVING
An attitude of gratitude and a forgiving heart will change how we see others. The Lord wants to partner with us in the spread of the Gospel-Good News. Seek the Lord and let Him change your outlook and heart. Speak to others in such a way that they will know you care about them. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

OCTOBER 22 – WISDOM

10/22 Colossians 4:5
Live wisely among those who are not Christians, and make the most of every opportunity.
WISDOM
We are to be wise in well doing. Proclaim the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ understanding that the lost will not understand what you are saying. What they will understand is if you care for them. As you live a life like Christ and speak of His work in your life you will attract those in need. The key is to be constantly be sharing the Lord as you live your life.

OCTOBER 21 – PRAY

10/21 Colossians 4:4
Pray that I will proclaim this message as clearly as I should.
PRAY
We need to pray for others. We need to pray with purpose and power. This comes out of our walk with Jesus. Seek the Lord. Spend time with Him. Know that the Lord is seeking our best good. Do not cease praying for those that are in need of salvation.

OCTOBER 20 – PROCLAIM

10/20 Colossians 4:3
Don’t forget to pray for us, too, that God will give us many opportunities to preach about his secret plan — that Christ is also for you Gentiles. That is why I am here in chains.
PROCLAIM
Proclaim the Good News. Jesus died for our sin. His death paid the price for our sin. He shed His blood for us taking upon him the sin that each one of us committed and yet He was without sin. Resurrected by the power of God Jesus is alive right now willing to come into our life and save us. Jesus is Lord.

OCTOBER 19 – RESPONSIBILITY

10/19 Colossians 4:1-2
You slave owners must be just and fair to your slaves. Remember that you also have a Master — in heaven. Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.
RESPONSIBILITY
We are to be just and fair to everyone. We cannot claim that certain ones are exempt. People count with Jesus. Jesus died for people including you. Remember that you are responsible. There are no exceptions-each on of us is guilty for our sin.

OCTOBER 18 – SECURITY

10/18 Psalm 16:9-11
No wonder my heart is filled with joy, and my mouth shouts his praises! My body rests in safety. For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your godly one to rot in the grave. You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.
SECURITY
Money or power cannot bring security. Popularity or intelligence cannot bring security. The only real security we can find is in Jesus Christ. Jesus gives us life and light for living. He is our security.

OCTOBER 17 – CONFIDENCE

10/17 Psalm 16:7-8
I will bless the LORD who guides me; even at night my heart instructs me. I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.
CONFIDENCE
I will trust the Lord. I will place my confidence in Him. He is my rock, my strength. The Lord is my peace, my joy. I love the Lord and He is always thinking about me. Every thought the Lord has towards me is a thought for good. Jesus is Lord and I submit my life to Him.

OCTOBER 16 – LIFE

10/16 Psalm 16:5-6
LORD, you alone are my inheritance, my cup of blessing. You guard all that is mine. The land you have given me is a pleasant land. What a wonderful inheritance!
LIFE
Your life belongs to the Lord. When you submit to Him He will change your life. Everything about your life will change. Where there was poverty there will be prosperity. Joy will replace heartache. Failure will become success. Trust in the Lord and He will do it.
