JULY 7 – PERSONAL

7/07 Psalm 3:7-8
Arise, O LORD! Rescue me, my God! Slap all my enemies in the face! Shatter the teeth of the wicked! Victory comes from you, O LORD. May your blessings rest on your people.
PERSONAL
In Christ you have a personal relationship with the Lord. It is special, specific and eternal. The Lord Himself safeguards this personal relationship. He will never leave you nor will He permit anything to separate you from Him. The Lord is God and there is no other and this wonderful all-powerful God loves you.

JULY 6 – SECURITY

7/06 Psalm 3:4-6
I cried out to the LORD, and he answered me from his holy mountain. Interlude I lay down and slept. I woke up in safety, for the LORD was watching over me. I am not afraid of ten thousand enemies who surround me on every side.
SECURITY
The Lord is watching over you. Twenty-four, seven the Lord is concerned about your life. You are never out of His sight, nothing that happens to you surprises Him and He goes ahead of you seeking for your best good. Build a relationship with the Lord today. You will benefit from it for eternity.

JULY 5 – SECURITY

7/05 Psalm 3:1-3
A psalm of David, regarding the time David fled from his son Absalom. O LORD, I have so many enemies; so many are against me. So many are saying, “God will never rescue him!” Interlude But you, O LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts my head high.
SECURITY
Our security is in the Lord. Speak to Him. Develop your relationship with Him. The Lord loves you and is seeking to build a family relationship with you buy you and only you can respond to His overtures for your life.

JULY 4 – PEOPLE

7/04 Psalm 2:10-12
Now then, you kings, act wisely! Be warned, you rulers of the earth! Serve the LORD with reverent fear, and rejoice with trembling. Submit to God’s royal son, or he will become angry, and you will be destroyed in the midst of your pursuits — for his anger can flare up in an instant. But what joy for all who find protection in him!
PEOPLE
People want to be in charge. God is in charge. People want to determine the outcome of tomorrow but only God knows the future and we cannot understand today much less the future. Little things overwhelm us but God is in control of all things. Talk to Him about everything in your life. Praise Him and seek His guidance. Claim His presence, power and protection today.

JULY 3 – POWER

7/03 Psalm 2:6-9
For the LORD declares, “I have placed my chosen king on the throne in Jerusalem, my holy city. ” The king proclaims the LORD’s decree: “The LORD said to me, ‘You are my son. Today I have become your Father. Only ask, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the ends of the earth as your possession. You will break them with an iron rod and smash them like clay pots.'”
POWER
We are blinded by our enemy time. We think in terms that do not identify the Lord. The truth is that the Lord is all-powerful and able to do much more than we can think or perceive. He is more powerful than the enemy. He is seeking to have an active and growing relationship with us. Lord we need you.

JULY 2 – THE LORD

7/02 Psalm 2:1-5
Why do the nations rage? Why do the people waste their time with futile plans? The kings of the earth prepare for battle; the rulers plot together against the LORD and against his anointed one. “Let us break their chains,” they cry, “and free ourselves from this slavery.” But the one who rules in heaven laughs. The Lord scoffs at them. Then in anger he rebukes them, terrifying them with his fierce fury.
THE LORD
Nothing fools the Lord. He knows everything. He especially knows your needs today. Ask Him to meet your needs and He will. Ask the Lord for strength, peace and joy today and He will give you Himself. His very presence brings all of the things that we need and eternity.

JULY 1 – GOD

7/01 Psalm 1:1-6
Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with scoffers. But they delight in doing everything the LORD wants; day and night they think about his law. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season without fail. Their leaves never wither, and in all they do, they prosper. But this is not true of the wicked. They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind. They will be condemned at the time of judgment. Sinners will have no place among the godly. For the LORD watches over the path of the godly, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.
GOD
He is Lord and He loves us. Claim joy in your life by taking your eyes off the cares and worries of this world and gazing with great consistency at the Lord Jesus. Let the Lord have control of you for He is in control.

JUNE 30 – FORGIVE

6/30 Romans 1:30-32
They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They are forever inventing new ways of sinning and are disobedient to their parents. They refuse to understand, break their promises, and are heartless and unforgiving. They are fully aware of God’s death penalty for those who do these things, yet they go right ahead and do them anyway. And, worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.
FORGIVE
Lord forgive me. Forgive me for sins that I have committed and know that I have committed. In our quiet time of prayer I will faithfully enumerate and detail those sins to You Lord please forgive me. FORGIVE me Lord for my laziness in dealing with sin in my life. Help me Lord to change, to grown and to be useful in Your Kingdom.

JUNE 29 – HUMILITY

6/29 Romans 1:28-29
When they refused to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their evil minds and let them do things that should never be done. Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, fighting, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip.
HUMILITY
Bend your life to the will of the Lord. Do not question the Lord and refuse to listen to Him but instead seek His presence and ask Him to guide you in the way you should go. The Lord loves you beyond your ability to comprehend therefore you can serve Him and should serve Him. Jesus is worthy of all honor, glory and praise. Praise ye the Lord.

JUNE 28 – SIN

6/28 Romans 1:26-27
That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relationships with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men and, as a result, suffered within themselves the penalty they so richly deserved.
SIN
Sin is pervasive in this world. Even the children of God must pay careful attention to the way they live or they too will be overrun by sin. Stay close to the Lord. Read His Word. Let Him give you guidance for living. That is the only way that you will be able to overcome the evil one. Sin is real and ever present so be careful how you live.
