6/27 Romans 1:24-25
So God let them go ahead and do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. Instead of believing what they knew was the truth about God, they deliberately chose to believe lies. So they worshiped the things God made but not the Creator himself, who is to be praised forever. Amen.
BLINDNESS
Mankind lives in blindness to wickedness. Worshipping something that is made and not the maker is sad. Jesus came into His world and presented Himself to us so that we would understand first hand the love of the Father. If we believe in Jesus He will take away our blindness and give us eyes to see and a heart that can love. He also gives us an eternal relationship to the Father.

6/26 Romans 1:22-23
Claiming to be wise, they became utter fools instead. And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people, or birds and animals and snakes.
FOOLISH
How foolish to create one’s own God. How foolish to think that we create our self. How foolish to think we can make our own way to the Lord. How foolish mankind can be. Jesus is Lord and He is the only way to the Father.
6/25 Romans 1:19-21
For the truth about God is known to them instinctively. God has put this knowledge in their hearts. From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see his invisible qualities — his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God. Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. The result was that their minds became dark and confused.
PRIDE
Sin blinds us to the Lord. Pride calls to us to follow our own way and continue in sin. We want our way. We believe in ourselves. A life built on pride overrun by sin is a life that will perish. Tragedy is the eternal result.
6/24 Romans 1:17-18
This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.” But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who push the truth away from themselves.
GOOD NEWS
God has come to mankind. God provides salvation in the person of Jesus Christ. We choose whether we will believe God or not.
6/23 Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes — Jews first and also Gentiles.
POWER
The Gospel is the power of God to change an evil world to a place that is in tune with the Lord. With it we destroy the power of evil. Under God’s control we become the kind of person that we were created to be and participate in changing the world. To change the world we must first change our self.
6/22 Romans 1:12-15
I’m eager to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours. In this way, each of us will be a blessing to the other. I want you to know, dear brothers and sisters, that I planned many times to visit you, but I was prevented until now. I want to work among you and see good results, just as I have done among other Gentiles. For I have a great sense of obligation to people in our culture and to people in other cultures, to the educated and uneducated alike. So I am eager to come to you in Rome, too, to preach God’s Good News.
TELL
We love Jesus and therefore we spend time with Him. The more time we spend with Jesus the greater the need we have to tell others about Him. He is and answer of how to deal with life’s obstacles. He is the way we change the way we are to what we want to be. Jesus is our future. Go and tell everyone you meet that Jesus is Lord and He loves you.
6/21 Romans 1:10-11
One of the things I always pray for is the opportunity, God willing, to come at last to see you. For I long to visit you so I can share a spiritual blessing with you that will help you grow strong in the Lord.
FRIENDSHIP
We need each other. Together we can worship the Lord and encourage each other in doing good. Together we can study the Word of God. Together we can serve. Alone we often fall by the wayside discouraged by the world and disappointed by our actions. Together we can defeat the enemy, rebuild our strength and return to the work. We are not as easily defeated in community as we are by ourselves. Thank you Lord for friendships and good friends.
6/20 Romans 1:8-9
Let me say first of all that your faith in God is becoming known throughout the world. How I thank God through Jesus Christ for each one of you. God knows how often I pray for you. Day and night I bring you and your needs in prayer to God, whom I serve with all my heart by telling others the Good News about his Son.
SERVE
When we are obedient to the Lord we will serve Him. We praise His name, His kingdom and His will for the Lord is worthy of all praise, honor and glory. What a wonderful Lord we have. Lord help us to be faithful to serve you.
6/19 Romans 1:6-7
You are among those who have been called to belong to Jesus Christ, dear friends in Rome. God loves you dearly, and he has called you to be his very own people. May grace and peace be yours from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
CALLED
Jesus would that none be lost. He called you and me and calls each one of us. The difference is that we listened and answered His call. Therefore we are members of His family and have fellowship with God. He gives us His grace and peace and we can live with confidence that we have it and receive it.
6/18 Romans 1:4-5
And Jesus Christ our Lord was shown to be the Son of God when God powerfully raised him from the dead by means of the Holy Spirit. Through Christ, God has given us the privilege and authority to tell Gentiles everywhere what God has done for them, so that they will believe and obey him, bringing glory to his name.
OBEY
Obey God. This is a critical missing element in too many Christians walk. Do the next right thing-obey. It is simple-do what God says but obfuscated and overlooked by too many everyday Christians. People look for a sign but God says “do this.”
