Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. So you see how it is: In my mind I really want to obey God’s law, but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin.
UNDERSTAND
We need to understand that there is nothing in us that is spiritually in tune with God.
We bring nothing to our relationship with God.
He gives us everything.
Indeed He came looking for us.
What do I do?
Believe in Him.
Obey His Word.
Keep my focus on Jesus.
He is my victory.
04/06 2 CORINTHIANS 10:5
We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.
STAND
By faith, stand with Jesus.
He is God’s Son.
He died to save us from our sin and separation from the Father.
He sent the Holy Spirit to live in us and give us the Father’s power.
All power in heaven and earth have been given to Jesus.
He gives us that power.
You live by His strength.
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit reside in you because you believe in Jesus.

FAITH
Believe in Jesus.
Give your heart to Him.
Let the Holy Spirit guide.
Trust in the Lord and do as He says.
If you try to logic your way along, you will fail.
Logic cannot conceive faith.
Our relationship with the Lord is based on faith.
Believe in Him and He will show you the way you should go!

Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.
WAY
We think we can decide our own way.
Our heart is deceitful beyond anything we can imagine.
Give your heart to Jesus.
Let the Holy Spirit have control of your heart.
Follow Him and He will lead you in the right way.
Control your heart or you will walk in the wrong way.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
STAND
We can stand our ground when evil comes calling.
Jesus gives us a courageous heart.
The Holy Spirit power in us helps us to thwart the activity of evil.
Do the next right thing.
Think about excellent things.
Obey Jesus.
Let His joy and peace reign in our souls.

CHANGE
Change your thinking to God’s way of thinking.
People count.
We count.
We care.
We help.
People need love and care-we give it.
Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
When we change the way we see ourself, we can help others.
04/01 ROMANS 12:2
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
COPY
Copy Jesus.
Listen to what He says and do it.
Along the way we learn a new way of acting.
This way coincides with the changes in our heart.
New heart, new life, new way of living.

We are known by our love for each other.

Give of yourself, love others.

Our Lord is involved in every aspect of our life.
He knows everything, every need, about us.
We need His wisdom.
We often need His intervention.
We need His strength, peace and joy.
The Lord freely gives us what we need.
Ask Him, He will respond and guide every step you take.
Jesus is Lord, He loves us and wants to be involved in everything in our life.
