Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.

NEW

Jesus gives us a new heart.

Guard it.

The heart can be desperately wicked.

We train it by thoughtless acts.

The chaos and evil of the world will gladly wreck your heart.

Let Jesus have your focus and He will guard your heart.  

MAR. 27 – PROV. 27:23-24

Know the state of your flocks, and put your heart into caring for your herds, 

24 for riches don’t last forever, and the crown might not be passed to the next generation.

WORK

Work hard.

Care for others.

Plan for the future.

Love Jesus.

Love People.  

Jesus is Lord.  

MAR. 26 – 1 COR. 16:13

Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. 

CAREFUL

Life is dangerous.

Be careful.

People will steal your joy.

Be careful.

Life has many ups and many downs. 

Be careful.

Be of good cheer.

Jesus loves you.  

MAR. 25 – GALATIANS 6:9

So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

STAY

Stay the course.

The end isn’t near.

Jesus is the beginning.

He will see you through.

Stay the course.

MAR. 24 – EPH. 5:8

For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!

BE

Be the light.

Be filled with the Holy Spirit.  

Be surrendered.

Be usable. 

People need Jesus.  Lead them to Him.

How?

Be the light.

MAR. 23 – PHIL. 1:6

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

SOON

Jesus is coming back.  He is coming back soon.

He chose you. 

He will not desert you. 

Trust Jesus.  He saved you.  

MAR. 22 – 1 COR. 2:3-5

03/22          1 Corinthians 2:3-5

I came to you in weakness—timid and trembling. 

4 And my message and my preaching were very plain. Rather than using clever and persuasive speeches, I relied only on the power of the Holy Spirit. 

5 I did this so you would trust not in human wisdom but in the power of God.

POWER

HOLY SPIRIT power is the power of God Himself. 

He gives it to us so that we can serve Him.

It is a testimony to the world of God at work.

It is a warning to us not to trust in our own strength. 

God is able to empower us, He is able to use us.

Bend the knee, use God’s power, He will see you through. 

MAR. 21 – MATTHEW 6:34

“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.

WORRY

Worry is always here.  

Trust in the Lord.

He is greater than my worry.  

He will deal with today’s trouble, today.  

He will always be with me, everyday unto eternity.

O Lord, you alone are my hope. I’ve trusted you, O LORD, from childhood.

ALWAYS

The Lord is my hope.

He is always with me.

He knows me, everything about me.

The Lord loves me with great passion.

I belong to Him.  

I trust Him.  He loves me.

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.

SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit leads me on firm footing.  

He is always with me.

He fills me with the Lord’s strength.

He knows everything about me.

The Holy Spirit knows every day of my life.

He comes to guide me and strengthen me,

He leads me in the Lord’s victory,

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, 

He is with me.
