DEC. 19 – LUKE 2:10-11

12/19          Luke 2:10-11

10 but the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. 

11 The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!

NOW

The angel announced to the shepherds staying in the field, 

The messiah has been born in Bethlehem.

The poor, the outcast, the unclean,

Good News, God is interceding for you.

The Messiah will make a way for you,

To change your life.  

You too can have a life of joy and peace,

And a friend at the right hand of God.  

Jesus is born, He was born in Bethlehem. 

That is GOOD NEWS indeed!

DEC. 18 – 1 PETER 5:10

12/18          1 Peter 5:10

10 In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation.

SHARE

We suffer, life is hard.

We have as our focus, time with God.

We cannot understand the magnitude of His presence.

But we believe it and live with an awareness of His presence.

One day, face to face, we will be with Him forever.

This momentary affliction will not be remembered.

God is faithful, God is good.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

DEC. 17 – PSALM 103:8

12/17          Psalm 103:8

8 The LORD is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. 

NEED

We need help.

Someone that knows where we are

And how we are struggling. 

Jesus knows.  

He is compassionate towards us-

He loves us.  

Amazing Lord.

Amazing love. 

Jesus will walk with you

Through your troubles. 

DEC. 16 – EPH. 2:4-5

12/16          Ephesians 2:4-5

4 But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, 

5 that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)

GRACE

Grace is God giving us what we need,

And cannot earn.

He overflows us with His grace.

He sufficiently covers us moment by moment.

Until we stand before Him in Glory.

God’s grace carries us from now unto eternity.

We will be with Him forever.

DEC. 15 – NUM. 6:24-26

12/15          Numbers 6:24-26

24 ‘May the LORD bless you and protect you. 

25 May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. 

26 May the LORD show you his favor and give you his peace.’

YES

Bless me and protect me Lord.

Oh Lord, smile upon me and be gracious to me.  

I pray for your favor and peace. 

Thank you Lord, thank you Lord.

Your goodness and faithful love are beyond my comprehension. 

Thank you Lord, thank you.  

DEC. 14 – PS. 23:6

12/14          Psalm 23:6

6 Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever.

PURSUE

We are sinful and weak.

The Lord’s goodness and faithful love 

Is pursuing you all the days of your life.  

Stand before the Lord.

Jesus forgive me,

Bring me into Your house.

DEC. 13 – PHILEMON 1:25

12/13          Philemon 1:25

25 May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

BE

Jesus Christ loves you.

He will be with you.

His grace exactly fits what you need and more.  

Ask Jesus and HE will grace you and be with you.  

DEC. 12 – 2 COR. 12:9

12/12          2 Corinthians 12:9

9 Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.

WEAK

We are weak and overburdened.

Turn to Jesus.

We don’t know the future.

Return to Jesus.  

He will lead, guide and direct your path. 

He is full of forgiveness and has what you need: help!

DEC. 11 – 2 CHRON. 30:9B

12/11          2 Chronicles 30:9b

 For the LORD your God is gracious and merciful. If you return to him, he will not continue to turn his face from you.”

RETURN

Jesus calls: “Return.”

His mercy is new each morning.  

He calls us to keep short accounts on our sin and confess.

Come to Him.  

He is waiting on you, do not tarry.

Never ignore His grace, you need what Jesus gives us.  

Return to the Lord. 

He loves you. 

DEC. 10 – PS. 90:17

12/10          Psalm 90:17

17 And may the Lord our God show us his approval and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts successful!

BEND

Bend your ego to Jesus.  

Stop being the way you were.

Be what Christ calls you to be, holy and focused on Him.

Serve the Lord with gladness.

Count your blessings.

The Holy Spirit will equip you to do the right thing.  

Let the Lord have all of you.
