JAN. 14 – LUKE 7:47

1/14            Luke 7:47

47 “I tell you, her sins—and they are many—have been forgiven, so she has shown me much love. But a person who is forgiven little shows only little love.” 

MUCH

We have been forgiven much.

Be grateful.

Develop an attitude of gratitude. 

Jesus loves you.  

He is God’s everything.

Serve the Lord and love Him.

Rejoice, you have been forgiven much.  

JAN. 13 – REV. 21:5-6

1/13            Revelation 21:5-6

5 And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” 

6 And he also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life.

WHAT?

What do you need?

Jesus will provide it.  

What is He calling you to do?  

He will give you what you need to accomplish His ministry. 

You can do it.

Jesus is able.  

JAN. 12 – ISAIAH 40:31

1/12            Isaiah 40:31

But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

STRENGTH

Trust in the Lord.

That is a key to strength.

Our trust sets His power loose in us.  

Trust in the Lord and do good and you will survive to serve.

Jesus loves you and wants you to be His hands and feet.

Trust in the Lord.  

JAN. 11 – 1 PETER 1:3-4

1/11            1 Peter 1:3-4

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, 

and we have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay.

RICHES

We have all the riches of Jesus,

Stored for us in Heaven.

It is pure, and undefiled.  

Nothing can touch it.

Praise God, we have a home. 

Our future is secured.  

JAN. 10 – LAM. 3:22-24

1/10            Lamentations 3:22-24

22 The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. 

23 Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. 

24 I say to myself, “The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!”

YES

Hope in the Lord.  

He is faithful.  

He loves you.  

He provides exactly what you need.  

This year purpose to grow and mature in knowing Jesus.  

JAN. 9 – MALACHI 4:2

1/09            Malachi 4:2

2 “But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture.

FEAR

Fear of God is wisdom.

Fear of God is courage.

Fear of God is knowing who you are and to whom you belong.  

Jesus is Lord, to know Him better is important for us to grow.  

Fear the Lord, He is king of the Universe-He loves you.  

JAN. 8 – ROMANS 8:31

1/08            Romans 8:31

31 What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?

NO ONE

No one can overthrow God.

No one can fool God.

He loves you.

He will never forsake you.  

If God is for you, no one against you will succeed.  

Praise God, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.  

JAN. 07- COL. 3:9-10

1/07            Colossians 3:9-10

9 Don’t lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds. 

10 Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him.

CHANGE

The word for mankind is change.  

We are to change from the way we are,

To the way that Jesus is.  

Read the Red Letters in the New Testament.  

Do what He says.

You will change.  

JAN. 6 – 2 CHRON. 7:14

1/06            2 Chronicles 7:14

Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.

HIS

Humble yourself.  

This is an act of awareness and faithfulness.

Humility is in opposition to arrogance.

God is great, we are not.

It’s not that we are not valuable, we just aren’t wise.  

God in His wisdom has provides more than enough grace and mercy each day.

Bend the knee to God.  

Jesus is king of the Universe, you are not.  

Jesus is Lord.  

JAN. 5 – 2 COR. 5:17

1/05            2 Corinthians 5:17

This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

NEW

This is my new year.  

Jesus is fresh and new each day.

Claim His leadership.

Claim His presence.  

Read the “red letters” in the New Testament.

Jesus outlines everything He is calling us to.

He explains Himself.  

His challenge is to become like Him.
