2/15 Psalm 34:18
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.
NEEDY
I am always needy.
Miracle and then unbelief.
I forget so quick.
But the Lord is close as I mourn my losses-poor me.
He rescues me.
Over and over.
He is the Lord and I need Him.
2/14 Isaiah 41:10
Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
BELIEVE
I believe the Lord.
He said DO NOT BE AFRAID, DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED.
HE is my God.
I believe the Lord.
He will strengthen me.
He will help me.
I will walk in His victory.
Trust in the Lord and HE will do it.
2/13 Psalm 40:1-2
I waited patiently for the LORD to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry.
2 He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.
LIFTED
He heard my cry.
He lifted me up.
Not because of what I had done.
I am weak and easily side-tracked.
But the Lord cares for me.
He set my feet on solid ground.
He loves me.
2/12 Joshua 1:9
This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
GOD
God calls us to be courageous.
Our courage outfits us to fight evil.
He commands us – do not be afraid nor discouraged.
Both can set us down.
Both can make life very difficult.
Both can separate us from our loving Lord. Do not fear, nor be discouraged-The Lord loves you.
2/11 Matthew 6:33
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
FOCUS
It takes focus to stand against distractions.
So many things to do, most relevant!
Yet focus is required,
For us to seek the Lord.
We look for Him in all the wrong places.
He is to be found amid our devotion.
His way is the right way.
Spend time with Him.
He is looking for us.
2/10 Psalm 9:9
The LORD is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
WE
We will have trouble.
We will need a refuge when we do.
People of every walk of life experience an emotion of being oppressed.
Lack of money, no friends, stupidity, evil, oppression is real.
The Lord is our shelter.
He will care for us.
Trust in Him.He will do it.
2/09 Psalm 23:4
Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.
WALK
Life is a long walk. Every day we walk in dangerous places. Our life can end in a split second. We trust the Lord. He is with us. His rod corrects us, and His staff protects us, even when we walk through the darkest valley. Jesus is always with us. It isn’t based on what we can do but is based on His love for us.
2/08 1 Peter 5:7
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
CARES
God loves you. He loves you with a love that is unimaginable because of its depth and breadth. It is an eternal love that loves you know all about you. It is the kind of love that the expresses by caring for you. God cares for you.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.
6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
TAKE
Take the path that the Lord shows you. Trust in Him and do it. Now.

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
TRUTH
This is important. We need to understand the basics of our faith. When things in life get overwhelming, you know that you have gotten away from God. Surrender, seek His forgiveness and spend time with Him. He will refresh you and carry your burdens.
