NOVEMBER 29 – TODAY

11/29          Jeremiah 33:10-11

“This is what the LORD says: You have said, ‘This is a desolate land where people and animals have all disappeared.’ Yet in the empty streets of Jerusalem and Judah’s other towns, there will be heard once more 11 the sounds of joy and laughter. The joyful voices of bridegrooms and brides will be heard again, along with the joyous songs of people bringing thanksgiving offerings to the LORD. They will sing, ‘Give thanks to the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, for the LORD is good. His faithful love endures forever!’ For I will restore the prosperity of this land to what it was in the past, says the LORD.

TODAY

Today this prophecy has been fulfilled in modern Israel.  Just a couple of months ago I sat in Hurva Square and watched this prophecy in the flesh.  Our God is an amazing God.  He loves you.  Your life is bound up in Jesus Christ and He will never let you go.  Salvation is eternal from this moment forever.  Praise the Lord.  He loves you.

NOVEMBER 28 – STRENGTH

11/28          Isaiah 12:1-2

In that day you will sing: “I will praise you, O LORD ! You were angry with me, but not anymore. Now you comfort me. 2 See, God has come to save me. I will trust in him and not be afraid. The LORD GOD is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.”

STRENGTH

Indeed, we are living in victory.  I don’t care what it looks like, Jesus is Lord and we belong to the Lord and share in His victory.  Victors live with strength.  Be strong and serve the Lord.  Victory is His gift to us.

NOVEMBER 27 – SERVANT

11/27          Psalm 116:16-19

O LORD, I am your servant; yes, I am your servant, born into your household; you have freed me from my chains. 17 I will offer you a sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of the LORD . 18 I will fulfill my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people— 19 in the house of the LORD in the heart of Jerusalem. Praise the LORD !

SERVANT

We are servants.  We need to remember that and act like a servant.  We are beholden to the Lord Jesus Christ.  Do what He says.  Do it now.  Do it without griping or tying to shortcut the service.  Jesus is Lord.  Serve Him.

NOVEMBER 26 – PRAY

11/26          Psalm 116:1-2

I love the LORD because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. 2 Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!

PRAY

Pray every day.  Pray about all things.  Pray in detail.  Pray for the Lost.  Pray for family.  Pray for our leaders.  Pray for friends.  Pray for enemies.  Pray about everything.  The Lord is good.  Pray.

NOVEMBER 25 – ACTS

11/25          Psalm 107:21-22

Let them praise the LORD for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for them. 22 Let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving and sing joyfully about his glorious acts.

ACTS

The Lord God’s acts towards us in Jesus Christ are sources of our joy and thanksgiving.  Lord we thank you.  Lord we are so grateful.  Lord forgive us of our sin and guide us in walking with you.  Bless the name of the Lord.  Thank you Lord.  We praise you and glorify your name.  Praise the Lord.

NOVEMBER 24 – THANK YOU

11/24          Psalm 100:1-5

Shout with joy to the LORD, all the earth! 2 Worship the LORD with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. 3 Acknowledge that the LORD is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. 5 For the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.

THANK YOU

Thank you Lord for loving us.  Thank you Lord for looking for us.  Thank you Lord for saving us.  Praise the Lord for His wondrous and rich love for us and for Him constantly seeking our best good.  Praise the Lord and Thank You Lord for we love and appreciate you.  Thank you.  On this Thanksgiving Day we give thanks to the Lord God Almighty for His love and care for us.

NOVEMBER 23 – GREAT

11/23          Psalm 95:1-3

Come, let us sing to the LORD ! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come to him with thanksgiving. Let us sing psalms of praise to him. 3 For the LORD is a great God, a great King above all gods.

GREAT

The Lord is a great and wonderful God.  He is our Lord.  He is eternal and yet He has come into my world to me and to you and told us He loved us.  Our unlimited God came into our limited world and He said we could have life like His but we would have to live that unlimited life by faith in Him.  Praise the Lord from whom all blessings flow.

NOVEMBER 22 – LIFE

11/22          Psalm 69:30-33

Then I will praise God’s name with singing, and I will honor him with thanksgiving. 31 For this will please the LORD more than sacrificing cattle, more than presenting a bull with its horns and hooves. 32 The humble will see their God at work and be glad. Let all who seek God’s help be encouraged. 33 For the LORD hears the cries of the needy; he does not despise his imprisoned people.

LIFE

The Lord is in this life together with us.  He pours out His mercy upon us fresh and new each day.  He covers us with His grace and His lovingkindness fills us and goes with us.  Our life is a gift and we are grateful.  Therefore we praise the Lord day and night.  Thank you Lord.  Thank you Lord.

NOVEMBER 21 – HONOR

11/21          Psalm 50:23

But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me. If you keep to my path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God.”

HONOR

We honor God when we give thanks.  We owe Him a debt of great honor therefore we are encouraged to have and attitude of gratitude in all things to Jesus.  Thank you Lord.  Thank you for all that you do in my life.  Thank you for salvation.  Thank you for my heart beat and breath.  Thank you for another day.  Our gratitude is endless for we have many things for which we are to be grateful.

NOVEMBER 20 – SONG

11/20          Psalm 26:6-7

I wash my hands to declare my innocence. I come to your altar, O LORD, 7 singing a song of thanksgiving and telling of all your wonders.

SONG

When we are filled with gratitude to the Lord it is our heart instinct to sing a song of gratitude to the Lord.  It is so amazing how much Jesus loves us and we sing about that love.  It is wonderful how the Lord cares for us and we instinctively express that great wonder in a song of gratitude to the Lord.
